Placed an order on the app 2 hours before close on 2/6. Drove all the way to the location and was told that they didn’t even have my order cooking yet- mind you, no cars were near the restaurant. It looked like I was their only customer. I ordered a bucket of dark meat and they told me they had 0 pieces of dark meat up, do I want white meat or to wait 12 mins. (Mind you- I drove for more than 12 mins to get the food. So it could’ve been fresh and ready for me.) I told them no, I would’ve liked them to fix the food I ordered, specified, and paid for. Instead, they tried to offer me white meat (literally the opposite of what I ordered) that had been sitting for who knows how long. When I declined they told me to cancel on the app- they couldn’t help in the store in any fashion. I immediately cancelled on the app and still haven’t gotten my money back and am getting conflicting information in if the ticket is opened or closed. I’m still mad that they let me waste my gas and time just because they didn’t want to drop the food I ordered. I apologize for ordering well before close- I’ll make sure I don’t order from here again.

This is usually a hit or miss. It was raining and the guy at the window just stood there while my food was sitting. He went to hand me my food after a few minutes and snatched it back laughing. Then handed it to me and snatched it back again. I wasn’t laughing. It was cold and rain was getting in my car. I was hungry and not wanting to play games.

Was going to go to Chick-fil-A but they had a line wrapped around the building twice. Popeyes didn’t have anybody in there one car pulled up behind me as I was going through. Order a 12-piece meal for me and my family with two sides and six biscuits. My sides were mashed potatoes and french fries $50 and a very aromic ride home later and find there’s no french fries. SMH. I can understand if there was a bunch of people there but there was literally nobody there.

This is consistently the worst location, after the last 3 visits they’ve officially lost my business. The food is ALWAYS old, the chicken so old it’s like leather. The last time I pulled up to order “what yooh want” like are we being serious whoever runs this location needs to fire the entire staff and retire people will to work. Full of completely lazy people.

If I could give a zero I would. I would like to start out by saying that I normally do not waste my time leaving poor reviews so the mere fact that I am is because it WAS THAT TERRIBLE. We ordered a 12 piece original family meal through the drive through at 0601 pm. At 0640 pm no one had said anything about our order. The doors to the building were locked, even though they were open, and would not answer their phone. We pulled out of the drive through, and pulled back around to the speaker. It took someone approximately 4 minutes to even ask to take our order. My husband explained at we had ordered food almost 1 HOUR ago and he wanted to check the status on the order. They stated, “I’m sorry we are still waiting on the chicken.” WHAT? I was very confused why it had almost been an hour and they still did not have our order ready at a fast food joint. It does not take that long to fry chicken! Needless to say we got a refund and went elsewhere. Instead of offering to remedy the situation we were given poor excuses for behavior. This location is trash! The employees have zero work ethic, and whoever the manager was should be fired. There is good reason this location has so many terrible reviews. Do NOT go here!

Me and My boyfriend went here for a late dinner. To only be disappointed with no workers in the store when there was three before we pulled in. Once we pulled into the drive thru ready to tell them we have a pick up order it’s as if no one was there. Multiple potential customers kept coming and left because no one was there no one answered. We waited an hour to just receive no food no response from an employee. All the employees were hiding in the back,one came out checking the drive thru then went back. Moments later another came as we were driving away telling another customer something about an hour and 30 minute wait. We are both so disappointed and incredibly hungry we’ve never had an issue until now. Never going to this location ever again.

There were people eating inside. Doors were locked, but it wasn’t time for the doors to close. People were using the drive up window. We wanted to eat inside, so we left. Another person left also. I don’t know why the doors were locked.

Typically I don’t do negative reviews unless there’s something really wrong….1) order was for 3 combos, 2 with double thigh, one double breast. Instead of informing me of the apparent lack in thighs the second thigh on both orders was substituted with wings and legs(wouldn’t have an issue if I was informed)
2) I was not given ANY napkins or cutlery to eat the sides im lucky I had a fork and some spoons in my work van al9ng with some paper towles.
3) I couldn’t even if I wanted too go back k for any type of compensation or refund as the gentleman in the drive through(he had blue hair) didn’t even give me my receipt and instead of giving me HotSauce I was given STRAWBERRY JAM? Needless to say when it comes to lack of communication both Popeyes and KFC on State Street,New Albany are twins rather than rivals.

Don’t waste your time going here, went to go for lunch the other day, they open at 10, the cashier had to go talk to thier manager who was still in her car about what to do because they had no food ready at open, I was informed that they will not be ready till 1030 at the earliest, so I guess the opening at 10 is just a suggestion not actually thier time to start serving people, just either learn time management or adjust your hours, I was on my lunch and you wasted my time, I also love how the manager couldn’t be bothered to get out of her car.
