Yesterday I ordered 6 boneless ghost pepper, ghost pepper chicken sandwich and mashed potatoes through the drive through. I was informed to moved to the second windows. I understand it may take time boneless are properly made per order. After 15 minutes of wait I was told twice that everything was in there and they ran off. Now I realized I have no time to waste because I have to head to work. I arrived with a few minutes to spare noticed I was missing my mashed potatoes. So I called informed the manager “Hey would you guys mind double checking orders before heading them out I understand youre busy, but it just takes two minutes”. They informed me to come in today to get it replaced.
I went in today now usually I’ll go through drive thru because then I will start nitpicking, but i still went in. As i approached the store it looked like someone just finished smoking a cigarette as my eyes followed them i noticed it was an employee. The store was a little messy not to bad properly recovering for dinner rush + shift change understandable. By my eye stayed on that employee not once looked they washed their hand, but ill give them a benefit of the doubt.
I spoke with a collared shirt. I presume it was the manager I spoke with yesterday informed them I was there to order and pick up the missing mashed potatoes he said “Okay” instead of taking my order he walked away gave me an associate. One I was annoyed but I let it slide understandable money handling had to be the one whose assigned a register sure. I told her my order. While waiting I was watching them. From the employee who did wash their hands and the cashier making sure nothing was missed. While waiting I watched the cashier touch the customers fries without gloves. Which is ultimately a red flag i understand if was the box but actual food itself yah nope.
After they noticed me watch them they proceeded to give me my food and again I had no time to check since im in a rush now to get to work. After I got to work I realized the fries were cold and you may say its because of my drive to work nope some how the chicken had stayed warm yet that was cold. Then seen they forgot the mashed potatoes again. So not only they wasted my time they forgot. The one thing I went in for.
With all in all I dont recommend coming here unless you want take a chance with inaccurate orders and your time wasted
I pull forward and eventually a third employee comes to the window, hands me a bag, quickly closes the window, and disappears inside. I check the bag- my sides are missing. Honk my horn, and eventually someone comes back to the window. I tell him my sides are missing. He says OK, disappears for a moment, and brings back one side. I have try explain that both sides were missing and he goes back and gets the other side.
But wait there’s more! I get home, and my 8 piece *dark * consists of 4 thighs and 2 drumsticks, plus 3 wings (which goes without saying aren’t dark meat).
Tl:dr. Terrible service, missing items, and incorrect items.
Luckily there are many other dining options next door and across the street. I will choose one of the alternatives from now on.
Last week was the worst and we probably will not return to this location. We typically order from the app but sometimes order in person. This time was from the app but the order got messed up. When we arrived it wasn’t ready as it should’ve been. No one at the location spoke English. One gentleman behind the counter was very energetic and seemed kind but couldn’t help us because he couldn’t understand. Resorted to pictures and trying to explain but didn’t get too far. We were at the restaurant waiting for at least 20 minutes (remember we had ordered from the app ahead of time). Finally got our order but it was split up into two and one had been sitting there for a while so it was cold and the other one was hot. We took it to go so had to reheat everything when we got home. Got sides of french fries and coleslaw. Both coleslaw containers were only half full. Ridiculous! Why call it a large if you’re going to fill it halfway. Fries were tasty but not big enough order for what we ordered. Very disappointed because we really like Popeyes chicken. I’m not sure if other locations nearby are better because as I read their reviews they’re pretty mixed.
Front counter is always empty, and the employees who are just standing around will just stare at you instead of helping, so be ready to wait at least 10 minutes for an order that’s already bagged up.
The manager is very nice and is usually the one who works the counter because nobody else will.
Overall it’s not a bad store, but it’s got horrible employees
