Have not been to Popeyes before. We decided to try it today. Usually I would give a restaurant a second chance. Not this time, they fell short on so many levels. Ordered classic chicken with mashed potatoes and biscuits meal. EVERYTHING tasted like fish. They had spicy mixed in with the classic which I did not order, and the biscuits were stale. Staff seemed friendly and my order was ready for pickup on time.

I’m a DoorDasher and had been told to pull to the second window at the speaker for my orders since the lobby was closed. I waited over 5 minutes before backing up to the first window as I was the only one in line and figured it would be easier since I always pick up at the first window, a lady who appeared to be a manager from her uniform opened the window and asked how long I’d been waiting, I said a good minute and she rudely said they had to drop food and that takes time I replied that I was just wondering because I was loosing other offers waiting for so long, she then asked the names of my dashes once again, I gave her the names and she stormed off, looked at the bags on the counter, then proceeded to come back to the window and tell me I need to go! I replied that I have a job to do as well and that I can’t simply abandon my orders. I can’t believe I was treated so rudely, I was just wondering if they forgot about me at the second window. I understand their drive times and having me pull to the second window, but at least inform people if there’s going to be an extended wait!

Food was hot (bone-in chicken was so hot I had to let it cool off for several minutes) and tasted great. The place wasn’t busy (it was around 5:30 pm on a recent Friday). Staff was friendly and helpful. This location is probably the best one in the greater Dayton metro area.

Worst experience at pop eyes.
Ordered at the speaker. Lady in the back ground. “5 minutes on boneless for kids meals”
I said thats fine. We waited 25 minutes. Waited on our food. 25 minutes.
I backed up. You, we were told 5 minutes.
Rude woman “I know, we are under staffed, we are bagging your food now”
(Pretty rude)
Then asked me to pull forward. I rudely declined.
Gave us the smallest strips they had.
Popeyes needs to removed the employees working tonight. And put workers in that actually cares.

Chicken looked great. But was very greasy and I don’t know how they did it but was absolutely tasteless. Absolutely the worst chicken I have ever had! Napkin in the picture was 1 of 14 grease soaked for only 1 thigh. I couldn’t eat the rest. JUST GROSS

We have never eaten at a Popeyes before, but this was a very good experience. The service was fast and friendly, the food was hot and tasty, and the dining area/bathrooms were very clean. It made us want to eat here again!

I was asked to pull around (assuming my food was still cooking) I was out by the side door and realized that I hadn’t got my card back so I went in to get it. The woman was very nice no problems. I went back out to my car. I was waiting for like 5 to 10 minutes and I didn’t know what was cooking. I didn’t know what I was waiting on and I had to get out to go get my kids so I went in And ask the lady what was cooking because I was just gonna see if I could switch something out and Seth, the man I think that’s his name said that I was impatient which I find incredibly insane for a worker to literally say to the customer long story short he made me cry And I am going to applaud the woman that I called and spoke to because she was very sweet and said that once he gets so many complaints he’s getting fired. I guess I don’t know. I think he should be fired now because that’s so wrong to say to a customer but I’m going to commend the woman that I spoke to who is very sweet and very nice. It cost nothing to be nice.

This Popeyes location rocks! I travel for business in 9 states and live me some Popeyes chicken. When they get it right lol and this store had it together today.
Very clean dining room, fast and very friendly staff, and every bite of my meal was delicious! Although I will say, the legs not just at location but throughout the chain, seem to have gotten smaller but still yummy.
Other Popeyes locations can take lessons from this store.

Ordered two meals and both came extremely burnt with crumbles of what looks like something scrapped off the bottom of a fryer sprinkled over the food. Food Stinks badly. Took nearly 50 mins to get two meals on a weekday night. Only thing good was the soft drinks. Very disappointed in such a new restaurant.
