Customer service is a dying term and a perfect example of that is this Popeyes restaurant. I had ordered three regular sides of mac & cheese and I get halfway home and I realize they gave me one large. So I called to complain and — first off whoever answered the phone is yelling at me talking to me like I am some bum off the street, ZERO professionalism — and I tell him that I ordered three regular sides of mac & cheese and he cuts me off mid sentence and says three regular sides equals one large. OK well that’s fine and dandy, but they’re going three separate places. If I wanted a large I would’ve ordered a large. There’s an obvious reason why somebody would order three regular sides of mac & cheese — because that’s what they want. Again he cuts me off mid sentence and says sarcastically OK fine come back here and I’ll put your large in a three separate Containers. And I start to tell him that I should not have to be inconvenienced because I didn’t get what I asked for, and he promptly hangs up on me. I will never in my life return back to this Popeyes and give them a penny of my money. That man was rude and hostile the second he picked up the phone. I called to state my issue. I wasn’t rude or confrontational until he got sarcastic and nasty. Tried to give no stars but I guess it won’t let you.

Just left the Englewood location for the fried pickles, I was asked to pull up at the window as if my order would be fresh and they serve me some fried chips. I don’t recommend ANYONE to go to this location and order pickles, I took the pickles back and the new order was no different just not as burnt….and the lady at the window claimed to be a manager, any real manager would manage the food being sent out. If you want your food cooked correctly nowadays its best to cook at home, customers are no longer being valued, without us there’s no business!!!!

Looked for an option for myself on the fly. I have celiacs disease and didn’t see many. Ended up going with chicken tenders but I’m afraid I’ve never had any like this. They were very thin, making it so I couldn’t remove the breading to eat much. I felt like they had been refried several times bc it was just gristle, that was painful on the mouth to eat. The coleslaw was good.

Ordered the five piece meal in the regular chicken when I got home it was all the spicy chicken so overcooked and dried out it was nothing but grease squirting out of it this was my worst experience ever was Popeyes in Englewood Ohio I have tried this place three times every time I eat there it is not good the only thing I have ever got from there was any good was the chicken sandwich and it wasn’t nothing to ride home about trust me by far churches and famous recipe blow this place away honestly they need shut down they can’t even get a order right sure wasn’t worth my money I feel like I got ripped off I will not be back to this location how can it be so different than the one on Salem avenue in Dayton I don’t get it

Garbage all I gotta say, GARBAGE, I was on my way to the doctors, I had to eat something, stop by Popeye’s I was driving, so I took a big bite out of the sandwich and immediately spit it out. I had to pull over to get that mess cleaned up out of my car. I could not believe what I had bit into, do y’all see all the grease on this garbage, straight up garbage? Got this from Salem Avenue Dayton, Ohio. Never would I go back there again, “NEVER”

The service here is always unfriendly. Ive worked near here for years, and given multiple visits to see if service or food has improved. They just made me pull around to the front of the building to wait and there were no other people in the drive through or inside. Waited almost 23 minutes and they brought me stale food and cold fries. And didnt bring me any of the sauces. Nobody even said hello or was friendly at all. All I got was “what you want” when I pulled up and “go sit out front” when I paid.

Chicken can be tasty at some locations. At others it’s dry and tasteless. Red beans and rice has very little flavor these days. I like thighs and on several occasions at drive through I’ve gotten a dry breast in place of a thigh. Best to go inside and eat there if time permits.
