I am a customer, and I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Louisiana Kitchen Cafe.
I personally saw that my wings were not cooked fresh. The food was taken already prepared and later reheated in the microwave. At first, I didn’t understand what was happening, but then it became obvious that this was old food being reheated, not freshly cooked as it should be.
This is completely unacceptable. Customers come here expecting freshly prepared meals, not leftovers warmed up in a microwave. Food like this should never be served again.
I threw the food away because I refused to eat it.
Management needs to seriously instruct the kitchen staff and cashiers that food must be cooked fresh and served properly. This kind of practice ruins trust and damages the restaurant’s reputation.

I try to be positive yet honest with my reviews. Sadly I can’t be positive with this Popeyes. Within a week before I visited this Popeyes I had eaten at another Popeyes location and was impressed with the food and especially with the sweet tea. I had never eaten at a Popeyes before-I was so impressed that I wrote a review and received a response for that Popeyes.
So we stopped at this location on the Ohio turnpike and #1 this location doesn’t have sweet tea- the woman said they didn’t have space for it quite matter a fact- maybe a little abrupt. #2 there were 4 people working there and one taller woman was zipping around doing the job of three. A young man in the back appeared to be at work as well. #3 they appeared to be short staffed. #4 I ordered from the kiosk (since the shorter woman seemed to ignore me) and specifically pushed the tab that said premium frozen lemonade so I know I ordered frozen lemonade and when I received cubed iced lemonade I asked about it she said the ticket didn’t indicate it was frozen she did replace it with frozen. So the programmer needs to update the system or she sadly wasn’t being honest. Yes it was a little busy however she was overwhelmed and sadly appeared to be confused.
The sandwich was ok. French fries were ok.
Service needs to be improved and more help!
Maybe a bad day for this woman, and who knows what she is dealing with in her personal life.

Rude lady at the counter that has no customer service skills. She belongs in the back not dealing with customers. Red beans and rice was ridiculous and for $5.00 don’t waste your money.

As a truck driver, this was the Best popeyes i have had on the road( in truck stops and service plaza). I ordered a 4 piece Classic and it was full of flavor and fresh. November 1st, 1:30 pm crew was awesome

I get it. Everyone is short-handed! But these people at Popeye’s are giving it they’re all. Every time I’m here they are busy. Today there was a online and I was 5 or 6 back. I find myself secretly rooting on the dude feeling the order. As my order got nearer, I found myself wanting to holler out go man go, you can do it! I watched him as he feel my order. I was thinking to myself, yeah that’s it, four pieces of chicken, he grabbed one biscuit. Oh no I had two biscuits! He double check the receipt and I saw him go back for the other biscuit. Yeah buddy, you got this! If you find yourself complaining about this service or that the orders not perfect. Hope you’re happy but behind the counter and do it yourself! Then let’s see how perfect you are!

Absolutely atrocious service! My wife and I visited this location on September 27, 2025, at approximately 7pm, and ordered a 12 piece family meal. I inquired if we could have primarily dark meat as it has never been an issue at ANY other Popeye’s we’ve visited in the past. The staff at those locations always graciously accommodate the request. Your staff, specifically a heavy set female taking our order who wasn’t wearing a nametag, rudely said “we can’t do that.” I could tell by her tone and demeanor debating this with her wasn’t worthwhile, so we left. A UPS driver in front of me explained he was waiting for close to 20 minutes for chicken sandwiches. I’ve read some of the recent reviews from this location and it would seem the customer service at this location, which is seemingly tolerated, will be its downfall.

Fast, friendly service. Michael took great care of me. He was very helpful and personable. The prices were very reasonable for a travel plaza. It was $8.69 for a shrimp basket with fries and a biscuit. The food came out hot and fresh. I would definitely eat here again.

Defense not a good experience at all the General manager for the location is definitely in deed if new training the attitude & lack of knowledge on her POS . Is beyond me the fact that all Popeyes are in honor of customer feedback surveys ! And would not honor the code & definitely thinking she could mislead a customer I take customer service very serious because if they treat one individual like that then they treat others like that! District manager does need to readout as I will be reaching out to cooperate Popeyes as well to advise them if this location ! Attitude & customer service lack of knowledge & training a the service is terrible a not wanting to assist customer with disabilities is beyond me. !
