Went to Popeyes in Yazoo City Mississippi. We were in Mississippi for a funeral. When we entered, the staff was loud, laughing, joking. My husband spoke as we entered. I asked the young lady at the register did the beans and rice have meat? The worker turned around to another young worker, and said , she’s asking if there’s meat in the beans, they both started hysterically laughing. I found nothing funny, it’s just a question. They were very disrespectful, horrible customer service. And the forgot to give me all of my order. They definitely shouldn’t work at the register. Look to be 16 to 18 years old. This happened January 9th 2026. People say the customer’s are rude sometimes, what about the workers? However, a worker ( late 30’s) came to my car and apologized for the young workers behavior. That generation?

My mother is a loyal customer at Popeyes and visits weekly. She uses coupons, orders the same meal every time, and stretches it over several days. She’s polite, patient, and never causes issues.
When she received her order, she noticed two items were missing. She calmly pulled back around and asked for one item without complaining or placing blame. While waiting, she overheard staff making an annoyed comment about her returning. Then, through the window, an employee held up a tip cup toward her.
That moment hurt.
No customer, especially one simply correcting an order mistake should feel embarrassed or made to feel like a burden. Popeyes employees are not a tipped position, and holding a tip cup toward a customer in this situation is inappropriate and unprofessional.

While traveling through Yazoo, MS, I decided to stop at Popeyes. I ordered a large red beans and rice. My order was HORRIBLE!! The container was filled with rice and maybe a TABLESPOON of red beans. I called the store and expressed how disappointed I was. The response I received was “do you want to come and get another one?” I said “NO”! I was about 15 minutes away from the store. I shouldn’t have to turn around and go back, if the order is done correctly the first time. POPEYES, your customer service is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!

Order 12 piece meal with cajun rice and coleslaw was given someone else order first of already pulled to side then had to go in it took so long got home coleslaw was spoiled someone could have got food poisoned and had a order and rice was dried out look old and warm not hot tried to call back not answer service is horrible unorganize

Just ordered two, two pieces chicken and a biscuit, all white. We paid $13.71 which I had looked up on the app and that would be the correct amount if my order was correct. Instead I get a thigh, breast and biscuit in one box and the other was a breast and leg. None of the pieces were hot and spicy that we ordered. This is not the first time this has happened here either. When you check you food at the window the person at the window gets an attitude and tells you you didn’t specify, didn’t give you a receipt either. Order was correct on the menu board because we told her twice that we wanted all whit, chicken and biscuit, hot and spicy
