The food was great! Fresh and hot! My 3 Pc spicy white was on point hunni. It filled my spirit and my tummy. The crew was cheerful engaging and the place was very clean . I had a wonderful experience!

Disappointed again. I’m not really sure why it’s like this, but I order 2 of the 3 piece combos through the drive thru and get it home to find it’s only 2 pieces in both and no biscuits in either. It’s always this particular branch and it’s always just me there. It’s not busy at all. I hate that I have to start double checking food before I leave. I try to keep everything closed up and warm. I’ll drive to Byram or go somewhere else.

This is one of two Popeyes here locally (about 6 miles apart) they may even have he same owner because they are practically identical…..very slow service, dirty bathrooms, employees are polite and respectful, often running out of cooked chicken, and chicken and sides are not nearly as good as any New Orleans location. I gave 3 stars because of the polite and respectful employees.

Nothing about this Popeyes is “fast” food. Most unprofessional and worst service of any Popeyes I have eaten at. Waited forever at the drive thru, asked to pull to the front, and waited some more. Server brought the food out, shoved it through the window as if put out, and promptly disappeared before we checked the order. The chicken was cold, the French fries were cold mush, but the coleslaw was warm. Did I mention no dipping sauce?

SLOW, SLOW, SLOW! It took 30 minutes from the time I placed my order until I got it. For context I got 2 meals one with 3 legs (yes I know that takes a little time) that being said people behind me got legs before I got any of my food. When I did get my food everything was correct it was the simple fact that it took so long. Fast food shouldn’t take 30 minutes just to get a to go order out the door especially when the drive thru was moving constantly.

Good Popeye’s Chicken is one of the worst I’ve ever seen and believe me I’ve been to a bunch of we called an hour ahead to get a order we drove 45 miles to get our order when we got here they did not have no macaroni cheese did not have no red beans and rice we ask if we can get council order they told us we cannot cancel order everybody here just don’t care about nothing I’ve been sitting out here in front now cuz they told me pull around front for about 15 minutes they say they going to bring my food to me I don’t think they are they probably going to spend in it I feel like if you run out of something you need to tell him when you make the order that you out of it or call her back this

I have had two negative experiences with the same manager:
1. I made an online order for some wings. Made it there and there was a very young lady, under 21, that said she wouldn’t be able to make the order in a timely manner because she was the only employee at work and she was cooking everything and serving the food alone. The door was locked and there were no cars in the parking lot. I was inclined to believe her and she asked for a refund. She said I would have to get a refund in the app. I went to request a refund and the app crashed and I wasn’t able to complete the refund. I came to this location the next day and asked to speak to the manager. Her attitude was disgusting! She told me in the nastiest tone that she couldn’t give me a refund and I have to “take it up with my bank”, which I did. But she was so nasty and mean.
2- we order 4 meals through the drive through. Everything we asked for they didn’t have: flounder, Mac and cheese, fried pickles. That’s no a big deal but the way she tells you she doesn’t have something “WE AINT GOT THAT ITS SOLD OUT!” It’s lunch we’re hungry. We are told by a lady to pull to the front of the building. We pulled up, waited 15 minutes and here comes the manager to bring the food. She threw it at my husband. Literally threw the food. He asked her was she ok and she turned around rolled her eyes and walked in. There’s no way I’m eating food thrown at him. We walked in, asked for a refund. This location will never see a dime from me again until they find better management. I’ll drive to Hazlehurst.
Oh and fish? They had some. I watched another guy order one and get it. Just not for us. Mind you, I don’t know this woman.
