Ordered 3 spicy sandwiches, one with extra pickle and two with extra sauce. The place wasn’t busy to we figured everything would be fresh. We parked after receiving our food. None of the sandwiches were labeled and upon opening all three sandwiches to identify which was which, they were all made the same and extremely sloppy. The buns were crushed, pickles at the bottom of the “bag” and the chicken wasn’t even half way on the bread. The photo attached to this was the only one without crushed bread but still I had to open to put the pickles back on it after and it was all just tossed sloppily in the sandwich bag. As someone who stopped for a bite while traveling, it was definitely not something you can eat on the road due to their presentation or application. Not to mention we shouldn’t have to assemble fast food.. won’t be returning this store much less recommending it.

Absolute trash. Every time I come here it’s the same outcome. I ordered spicy tenders and of course got REGULAR, tiny tenders with basically just batter and barely any chicken. One of my pieces was brown and smelled rotten when I pulled it in half! DO BETTER! $30 wasted

Horrible service, I ordered online the quarter pound popcorn shrimp and two piece chicken tender combo. When I arrived to the restaurant I was told they did not have any seafood. I was honestly okay with that so I said okay what can I substitute for the missing shrimp. I was told they can’t do substitutions I need to go online and get a refund. Just one chicken tender . Apparently one chicken tender that they single count every single day was going to throw their entire inventory off LOL. I said can I just get the order without the shrimp again I was told no I need to go online and get a complete refund. Absolutely ridiculous. And trying to get a refund is so infuriating because I can’t even figure out how to do that online without having to talk to someone through a chat. I know one customer doesn’t mean much but they definitely lost this customer.

Food was decent BUT, I ordered then arrived 10 minutes later and had to wait 20 minutes. I went back to the window and the employee was hollering at the MANAGER about what he did wrong and how he didnt need to be a manager because he was a sissy. The manager walked outside and my food was given by another employee while the other employee was still hollering. I felt so bad for that manager.

Terrible experience! Service at this location should be a “0.” Obnoxious. Rude. Hateful. Ignores customers. We were denied service! Lengthy review below….
Popeyes has been one of my favorite fast food stops for the past 6-7 years. The chicken sandwich is the best on the planet (hands down). The Cajun fries, Mac and cheese and biscuits are sides that are unmatched in the fast food world. And the fried pies? They are even better than grandmas. However, not all locations are up to the same standards I’ve seen at many other locations.
We made a stop at the Bay Minette location earlier this week on our way to Montgomery. We waited in the short drive through line, but when we arrived at the intercom for our turn… it was silent. No one spoke. We waited for ten minutes. Calling out to through the intercom was uneventful. We heard the employee speaking to the car in front of us, so we knew he was listening. However, our efforts to speak to him were completely fruitless. After time passed the car line was stacked up behind us at least 4 deep so I drove up to the window to see if there was a problem with the intercom.
When the guy opened the window he was laughing. He said they would not serve us because my Jeep Wrangler was pulling a small rPod. What difference does it make? We watched a contractor’s truck pulling a trailer loaded with tools that was served without reservation. Clearance was not a factor (obviously) because we made it to the window but the guy simply refused to take my order. No explanation was given other than something was funny about it to him and the staff.
I pleaded with this obnoxious guy to take our order anyway at the window but he rudely said, “There are other people behind you that are placing their orders now.” I said, “Yes, but I’ve been back there too… we waited for ten minutes before pulling up to this window.” He acknowledged that he heard me calling out on the intercom but just pointed ahead (as if to say move along) and told us to leave the drive through line. He closed the window. As he closed the window the other employees were laughing and cutting up about it. One lady at the counter was really enjoying the moment, laughing and smiling.
I’m not sure what was so funny, but we’re not laughing. Neither were the other customers in line behind us that were also forced to wait on the comedian with the headset. So we’ll not be back to this location. The food is usually very good but this kind of service is unacceptable. Arby’s (up the road) was more than happy to serve us that day. A Reuben and curly fries sufficed that day but we still love that chicken from Popeyes! Just not expecting to take my chances again at the Bay Minette location.

I would give ZERO stars but that wasn’t an option, these people are sooo slow, we waited in drivethru for about 25 minutes the so-called manager comes on and said they’re in the middle of shift change like I’m at the ER. IT JUST REDICULAS! Bay minette got to do better on all levels and not just with the timing!

I waited in the line for 10 minutes before someone answered and they said to hold on we’re in the middle of shift change and proceed to not answer for another 10 minutes but I couldn’t leave because I placed a mobile order and already paid. This is a normal occurrence with Bay Minette Popeyes.

I ordered the classic chicken sandwich, just the sandwich from here earlier this afternoon. I couldn’t even bite through it because it wasn’t done! This could have made me very sick! I won’t stop here the next time I’m passing through. If I hadn’t made it onto the interstate, I’d turned around to take it back.

The young man who waited on me was very polite. I spent $40 on chicken tenders got home. There’s nothing inside of the crust it’s fried so hard. You can’t eat any of it save your money and go somewhere else not Popeyes in Bay Minette This is the second time it’s happened. It’s a bit ridiculous.
