Ordered some drive food via drive thru, just needed to order 4 things for some kids that never ate at Popeyes before, employee asked “is that all?” I asked for a moment to verify, then was immediately asked again, and I was was told to come to the window before I finished verifying that everyone got exactly what they wanted, finally got charged .25 cents per sauce packet at the window because I didn’t order them at the kiosk, while I was being rushed before I could verify everything. Only to find out that they ran out of chicken and were cooking some at the moment, meaning I was rushed out of the way just to make me sit there for 15 minutes.
Rushing me, just to make me wait.
Charging me for sauces, that they didn’t verify I needed.
Treated like an inconvenience, despite being polite and respectful.
If you need patience to verify you have everything, or don’t know the menu because you don’t eat Popeyes often, or are looking for friendly faces after a long hard day and are trying to feed some kids with some fresh food and don’t have enough energy to cook at home, then at this time, this is not the place for it. I hope that changes for the better.
I know y’all deal with some uncivilized people throughout the day, but I wasn’t one, and was genuinely looking forward to seeing y’all.

I drive from out of town to visit my 90 yr old grandmother and stopped by Popeyes to get 3 legs. They said I would have to wait as they didn’t have any. I wanted to wait as legs are what my granny likes. I pulled up and waited. I just got to my Granny’s and it’s not legs, it’s thighs.

Tried to use the app to order my dinner.
On a business trip and wanted to get something quick. This particular Popeyes was just down the street from my hotel. Ordered through the app a special offer.
When I arrived the drive thru line was long. Parked my car to go inside. Posted on the door was a sign, “Drive thru only”. Meanwhile my 15 minutes required to pick up order was at 10 minutes.
It took me 20 minutes to get to the order speaker. They would not accept my deal!
The manager said, “You should have waited to place your order.” I had to order something else which cost more.
This is NOT Chick-fil-A!
Don’t come here expecting great customer service.
When I got back to the hotel with my order, it was ALL CHICKEN BREASTS! I do not like chicken breast! Dry mashed potatoes too! Very little gravy.
Not all Popeyes serve you this way. My home state Popeyes is great!

I ordered through DoorDash at 8:49pm.

This place has the best chicken livers I’ve ever had. The snack boxes are overflowing with plump flavorful livers that you get made to order just for you. I always get the Cajun sprinkles and honey to go with mine. Ummm good. Would have given 4 or 5 stars today like normal but they took an even longer time to bring them to me. (Almost 15-20mins.) And once I received them I then had to go back inside to get the biscuit that’s supposed to come with it and the before mentioned Cajun sprinkles and honey that I specifically asked for when I ordered coming through the drive thru. But even after all that still the best chicken livers I’ve ever had.

Poor service. Went there around 5pm on on a sunday and we got the last 16pc chicken put together what was left. Orderd some wings, sadly we didn’t look in the bag as we left because they never put it in. Not worth to take an hour round trip to go back to complain. Learned our lesson !!!

This store needs MAJOR staff changes or retraining. Two visits within 1 month, same experience which was AWFUL. 1st visit, I waited an hour for a pick up order. The restaurant was empty other than 2-3 walk in pick ups. Front cashier was live in social media. No one was helping the kitchen cook. My order was lost and started after waiting in the drive thru for 20 minutes. Then told me it would be a little longer because they only had one cook. SOMEONE COULD HELP HIM! TEAMWORK! this trip, my order was lost/not printed yet again, no spicy chicken had been cooked. I agreed to regular then was informed its all breast. I just accepted out of frustration at this point. Then miraculously was told all my chicken was ready and correct. Popeyes in Huntsville NEVER have this issue when I go. I prefer Popeyes over most chicken joints but Decatur’s needs to be revamped completely!

There was No waiting in line the whole time!
