I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. The food was served raw, and the staff was rude and unprofessional. I submitted an online complaint, but weeks later I have received no response from the owner and no refund. This shows a complete lack of concern for customers and food safety. At this point, contacting the health department would have been more effective.

This is my favorite Popeyes in Alabama! The food is always extremely hot, fresh, tasty, and flavorful. All of the staff work really hard to push orders out fast and accurately. I visited this location every Saturday for 5 weeks and I was never disappointed. Keep up the great work!

Worst Popeyes ive ever been to. We came in off the highway from a road trip not knowing that this is probably the worst Popeyes in the entire chain.
Had to use the restroom. My mom went in the first one. There were 2 men waiting outside. One was a cleaner the other just hanging out i guess. The cleaner told me it’s unisex restrooms. Cool. I went in the other and the door wouldn’t shut. Came out to wait and he and the other guy kept trying to convince me it was ok to use it. I just waited for my mom to finish.
Service was extremely slow. The woman at the register seemed very uninterested to be there. Looked irritated when I gave her my order. Rotal was $24xx. I had cash, she couldn’t give change for 2 $20’s. Found a $10. Nope. Not enough $1’s for change. Dug around and found a $5. That worked. I was honestly surprised I got correct change back.
They had to cook the chicken strips. Restaurants run out, thats fine, I understand.
I asked if they had unsweetened tea and she, very annoyed, said “no.” and seemed just really irritated to exist in that restaurant.
Went to the soda fountain, no ice. Of course. Ended up getting water and a warm flat coke.
Took about 20 or so minutes for our food-not to cook, just to get from the tray to the box. The another couple mins to get from the counter where they box food to the one where you get your food.
Like I said, it was the absolute slowest service.
Other people came in and ahe was just as rude to them.
The chicken strips were at least hot.
If I could give negative stars for service and atmosphere, I would. Also, this was around 6pm, so not like we came in right at close.

I originally had an order that was incorrect however after advising the manager, Shameka Ford about it over the phone, she advised me to come into the store with my receipt and she would gladly and immediately rectify and replace it. I must say that she did so in a very professional and friendly manner. I received my correct order with piping hot chicken and sides. She was so very nice and professional and apologized for the error. From now on I will only visit the Finley Avenue Popeyes because of her genuine kindness and professionalism.

My husband was so looking forward to food from this restaurant because we’ve been eating crappy hospital food for a week. I ordered through the app and when he got there to pick up the food, they told him they didn’t have any of it to cook. They only had I believe fries and bone-in chicken. He wanted a spicy sandwich and I wanted tenders and mashed potatoes. They never contacted me via phone, email, or through the app to let me know so I could just cancel the order. Apparently, you can only request a refund through the app, but you have to talk to AI chat support. I pretty quickly got an email from someone saying they wanted to offer me a $20 coupon for the restaurant and made no mention of a refund. I’ve emailed them back, but haven’t heard anything yet. I will be filing a chargeback with my bank for theft and fraud.

Ordered and peacefully waited since I could tell they were busy. After 45 mins I asked everything but chicken tenders had to be cooked since they didn’t pull my meal ever time they tried to make it. 4 people left with there orders that ordered 45 mins after me. Only took 1:10 mins to receive my order.

Had a wonderful experience today at this location. It was quiet which was unexpected. The service was excellent and professional and the chicken and biscuits were hot and taste great!! I was up from Atlanta and will be visiting this location again. I do not even eat at Popeye’s in Atlanta because they are so unprofessional and the chicken is always dark and hard. These ladies are proficient and get the job done!! Thanks staff and cooks!!

I would give 0 stars if possible. Just left the drive thru. The young lady at the register had a runny nose. She was sniffing and wiped her nose with her hand! Very gross. I didn’t say anything because I assumed someone else would fix the food. I was wrong. She grabbed the tongs and started putting food in the box. THEN SHE PICKED UP A PIECE OF CHICKEN WITH HER BARE, UNGLOVED HAND AND PUT IT IN THE BOX! The box almost fell off the counter and she caught it with her leg and hand and pushed it back on the counter. I told her that was ok, cancelled my order and drove next door to Captain D’s. I called back up there twice to tell the manager but no one answered. Beware!!!!

1st time eating here and I was impressed. Few people ahead of us but once we ordered the food came out quickly. And it was all fresh. Portions and quality of food was excellent. Staff was very kind and helpful.

This is the worst Popeye’s I’ve ever been to. The staff is very rude and don’t deserve to represent the company. They haven’t been taking drive-thru orders at this location for weeks. I witnessed them being rude with a customer who was just trying to understand why the drive thru was closed. I mean, they actually come to the speaker and then tell you to come inside, even though the whole entire parking lot is full. The lobby has a line back to the door. Every one of those employees should be fired. I can’t comment on the food because I’ve been there twice and haven’t gotten a french fry. Park where???
