Probably the best fried chicken place in Harpersville. I say that jokingly because it’s one of the only chicken places in Harpersville however it’s a great addition and I’m so glad that it’s here. As a big fan of Popeyes chicken I can say that the food is always delicious and always consistent with that served at other Popeyes locations. What makes this location even more special is the staff. Their bright smiles and warm hearted welcomes as we come into the door. They were kind and patient while we looked over the menu and we’re available to answer questions or provide assistance when needed. I am very grateful for the experience that they provided and highly recommend this location to anyone, and cannot wait to return.

Stopped by the drive thru for a quick lunch. Ordered a couple of chicken strip meals and chicken sandwich with a side of fries and redbeans and rice. Everything was fresh, hot, and tasted great. The biscuits were warm and fresh and always yummy! Service for friendly too.

This was my first visit to a Popeye’s in some time. It was also my first time in Harpersville, Alabama and an unexpected visit. A big traffic jam on the Interstate ended up being a trip through the countryside and led to this Popeye’s.
The staff was friendly. I walked up to the entrance and walked in. As it turned out, the dining room was actually closed but someone forgot to lock the door. We did not know that for a few minutes until someone apologized, explained the situation, and let us order and still eat inside. The problem, as is often the case now, was a lack of a complete staff.
As a result, we had a quiet dining experience in a dining room that was very neat, clean and quiet. No doubt, the people who came up and wanted to come inside were perplexed as we were sitting there eating but the door was locked so no one else could enter.
The two-piece combo meal I had was excellent. It was cooked perfectly with a little spice. My dining companion had the chicken tenders. They were also very good.
The biscuit was tasty and not overdone, the drink cup was very large and the iced tea was also good. The cajun rice was very spicy. I think I would go for the red beans and rice on another visit.
I suspect we will try another Popeye’s in the near future when we have a craving for fried chicken.

Waited 5 minutes at this location (drive thru) for someone to take my order. Then paid at window, and waited in a spot for someone to bring my order for 8-10 minutes. Just not what I was expecting

On more than one occasion I have went to this location and got handed my order missing items. Each time I returned, the employees see it as a bother to correct the blunder. The staff are typically inattentive and pay no attention to detail or show any inkling that they have been exposed to manners. If you order a dessert you will likely be told it’s a six minute wait, but it will realistically be twenty, and odds are you’ll be missing the item they claim took the order so long. If you’re not on your lunch break and can wait forever on fast food chicken, and you don’t mind going back to get what you paid for, and don’t mind dealing with rude service members, this place isn’t so bad.

Truly disappointed. I think it would be very difficult for the worker taking our order to care less about her job. This location was out of 4 sauces that we asked for until finally we asked “well, what sauces do you have”. In the 5 piece chicken tender that we ordered, 3 of our “tenders” were only breading with absolutely no chicken in them to be found. Our family gave this location another chance after it reopened, but we will not be wasting our money here again. To add insult to injury, we didn’t even get straws for our over priced “dinner”.

Someone came through earlier that had a few hives on the back of his vehicle so Harpersville called us and we came and helped them out. We did not kill them. We are bee keeper’s. (By the time we got to Popeyes there wasn’t that many.)

This review is for the Harpersville, AL location. Very tasty, crispy fired chicken. The slaw was fair and I enjoyed the biscuits. This is my favorite of the fast food fried chicken on the bone.

They dont answer the phone, they get an attitude when they come to the phone and they always get food wrong. The manager is very rude when I called about my order. I also order apple pies end up with strawberry pies and I do not eat strawberry nothing. I tried calling back, they will not answer the phone. I would like for my stuff to be corrected.
