My Mac and cheese tasted stale, the cheese had a lot of small bubbles on it and was tough as if it was reheated. Chicken tenders were lukewarm, stiff and dry.
**None of the food tasted fresh.** I threw it all in the garbage. I paid over $20 for this meal. I am a truck driver, it’s sad that we work all day and get overcharged for CRAP food.
***THIS FOOD WAS ABSOLUTE CRAP*** I could understand it more if I had came late at night right before closing, but I came there mid afternoon.

2.9 stars is right for the behavior of the employees of this facility… specially Mrs Stephanie, who’s the manager and likes to hang up on people that tell her to give a better customer service by letting people know when something is not available and at least offering something for the missing item that they don’t remove from their menu. People going to work to get a paycheck and that’s all. Get a better job if you’re so miserable there ❤️

$18.00 for a 2 piece chicken with 2 sides. Unbelievable!! Especially how small the pieces of chicken were. I would have been better off going Texas Roadhouse.

Well if you’re unlucky enough to live in Citrus County as I do and you’re a Popeye’s Fried Chicken fiend, even though we lost 1 of our fried chicken joints during the covid-19 pandemic (KFC, big deal? Not to me, I’m just saying)! Us hard-core Popeyes Fried-Chicken addicts with no 12-step meeting to attend find ourselves having to travel “a ways” to get our “fix” on Popeye’s crunchy classic or the spicy version I call “rag-‘in cajun”. I’m writing Popeye’s Cajun Headquarters and my parties elected officials and Citrus County’s BOCC to get approval for and get a petition or 2 circulating for our own Popeye’s Restaurant in Citrus County! Sounds pretty good, eh?! I’m thinking they’d oblige me and open a store right across the street from my MHC’s main entrance (Moonrise Ln) or if it has to be further away from me maybe the Popeye’s Cajun Board would go for a spot right off the newly completed section of Florida’s Suncoast Parkway in Crystal River. I know this for sure–as much money as I give ’em through the Bushnell store every week they’d be doing good to listen to me rather than the alternative consequences of losing me as they’re unpaid uneducated & unknown local influencer (lol)!

My family enjoys Popeyes chicken once maybe twice a month. Today I walked into the store as I had a coupon and could not use the app to order. I walked up to the counter and the lady behind the counter advised that if I wanted to place an order, I had to use the kiosk. I said so you can’t take my order, I have a coupon. She said I have to use the kiosk and walked away. Standing there dumbfounded, an employee did come around the front of the counter and assisted my with my order. I did not have my glasses and could not see the numbers on the coupon. The family behind me saw what I was going through and told the manager if they wouldn’t take their order, then they will eat elsewhere. The manager said they would have to use the kiosk, they all went to Arby’s next door. While I was waiting for my order I asked to talk with the manager. When she came out I asked when this change happened and she advised that this change happened a week ago. I asked so no one can take an order from a customer? She advised that the kiosk was the only way to order and that was the way everything was going to.
Even at McDonalds you can still walk up to the counter and place an order.
I can’t say that the customer service was horrible because an employee did assist me with my order but I had to touch the screen as she said she wasn’t allowed. Tha manager couldn’t care less.
Yes, I know that using the app to place an order is similar but if I wanted to specialize my order you aren’t able to do that so I would go to the counter to place my specialized order.
I think it’s sad the way customer service or the lack there of is headed. As a consumer I am having to do more work and still have to pay the same price.

I’ve been eating Popeyes chicken my whole life, but this is by far the best spot! This was my first time visiting this location…Hot and fresh just like I love it and packed with flavor! Even my chicken thighs were properly CLEANED! I want to give a special thanks to the GM Lisa who is running a fine establishment and Eleana who assisted me with my order. Fantastic customer service!

First, let me say, BEST FRIES EVER! They are crispy and have the best flavor. The shrimp tastes amazing too. The chicken is very good most of the time as long as you get it when it is fresh. Easy to get in and out even though it’s in a gas station.

Delicious! I got the spicy chicken sandwich and the rice and beans. Way better than CFA in my opinion. The breading was perfectly crispy, the chicken was juicy, and the sauce and pickle – yum! Fresh and delicious always go great together. Their rice and beans are the best… spicy and smoky. The staff were friendly. Great experience all around.

I dont know if management changed or what but now they want you to make an order thru a machine and are not as accomodating as they were before.
This girl name Victoria ( her tag said assistent manager ) was so rude telling you to use the machine and not helpfull accomodating the order.
Im gonna have to switch Popeyes location I think .
