I had to take a moment to shout out Popeyes on 301 and Big Bend—specifically because of the amazing customer service I received in the drive-thru from Gina. It was truly a breath of fresh air.
My family and I had stopped going to Popeyes for quite some time due to ongoing service issues, but I decided to give this location another try while picking up dinner for the family—and I’m so glad I did.
The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what it should be, and for the first time in a long while, there was no attitude at all—just friendly, respectful service. I was genuinely impressed.
This location has clearly turned things around, and Gina is a big reason why. Great service like that makes all the difference. We’ll definitely be back!

I was reluctant to come here today because it has been shut down a few times for health reasons upon entering the restaurant. I noticed that they now have the new self serve kiosk to order at, but I prefer to order at the counter after about three minutes I was greeted by a very unhappy, looking and sounding employee that was disturbed from doing nothing in the back to having to address me. Told me I would have to order at the kiosk because that register did not work. Which I promptly smiled, said thank you and walked out of the restaurant frustrated sitting here in the parking lot writing this review to help others realize this place probably won’t be here much longer. Check your food and make sure it’s clean. I’m not sure anybody cares Here

This was easily the rudest and most unprofessional fast-food experience I’ve had in a long time.
It was obvious the staff was more concerned about manipulating their drive-thru timer than actually serving customers. They only allowed one car to order at a time, and when I reached the pickup window, they asked me to pull forward — not because my food was ready, but clearly to stop their clock and make their service times look better.
When I declined to move forward since my order wasn’t ready, their attitude immediately changed. They became rude, dismissive, and visibly annoyed. Instead of focusing on preparing the food and providing normal customer service, their priority was protecting their metrics.
Customers should not be treated like obstacles to performance statistics. The purpose of the drive-thru is to serve customers efficiently and professionally — not to manipulate timers to make numbers look good on paper.
Management needs to address this behavior. It reflects poorly on the business and creates a frustrating and disrespectful customer experience.

Customer Service is important!!! The young man just threw the bag and closed the window. The only reason I didn’t deduct overall is because the deal is great, chicken is great, and the service here has improved. Customer service should be an important part of training!!! Young people with no home training should at least be trained how to function in your business!

We ordered ahead for pick up. Said it was ready. Went into store, stood there for over 10 min with a bunch of people just sitting on their phones laughing, no interaction or we will be with you. My wife continued to wait and I drove through the drive through to pick up the order since no one came up. The tenders weren’t cooked and had to be put down. They never said to drive forward. Food finished and they handed my wife food at the front, never saying anything to me. Asked if I should go now and the window person just pointed forward. My food was cold since it sat so long. Food got 2 stars since at least the tenders were good. Terrible service and experience.

Me and my mother visited Popeyes today and had an amazing experience! Mrs. Ma’am, the manager, and Mr. Chris (Big Dogg) were absolutely incredible. The service was fast, courteous, and truly above and beyond.
This store has done a complete 360 from the previous management, and you can feel the difference the moment you walk in. Mrs. Ma’am runs that location with excellence, and Big Dogg brings the energy, professionalism, and great customer service that makes you want to come back.
It was a pleasure dining here, and we will definitely be returning with the whole family. Popeyes got it RIGHT with this team. Highly recommend!

I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt on too many occasions and was disappointed 100% of the time. There is a 100% chance that my order will be wrong and when I try to call the number, it does not actually reach the store. My most recent order was nothing but fried breading on bone. Overly cooked and inedible. They always give me the nasty cheesecake Dessert whenever I order the apple pie. They never give me my complete order. The last two times I ordered from this location. I ordered 12 wings and received six quail sized burnt wings. The sauces are never correct, the drinks are never correct. I really have to stop being delusional and thinking that they will get at least one order right..

I order on 2026/02/25 13:05. Then App show this order is ready for pickup. When I arrived at the restaurant on 13:20, the manager said it was closed, so ask me to the customer service to cancel the order. What! Close on 13:20. And accept my order. And app show me ready for pickup! And say no return, need you self to find other support! What a wonderful service!
