I placed an online order on Tuesday Feb 24 and went through the drive-through for pickup. I customized my 10 pc family dinner to include 5 thighs, 4 wings and 1 breast (all spicy). When I stopped at the window I was informed it would be 3 minutes until the spicy chicken was out and I should pull up and they will bring it out. After 15 minutes of waiting I walked inside. When the person I spoke to saw me she told her supervisor she would prepare my order next since I had walked in. She then proceeded to tell me it would be another 15 minutes since I had customized my order and they don’t normally cook 5 thighs at a time. Ridiculous but I wasn’t willing to wait 15 additional minutes after being lied to once already. So I accepted pieces I did not order (only 2 thighs and 1 wing). In addition, whoever cooked the chicken did not prepare it properly. The crust was very thick and hard. This was the worst Popeyes chicken I have ever eaten. So both customer service and food quality were horrible. The shift supervisor should be fired. (Also prices have skyrocketed in the past few months)

Soon as I left my Servsafe class I was so hungry. With all the knowledge I just received I had to tell my story. So the cashier was very polite. The manager (african American) was in the kitchen with her hair not tied. Hanging down to her legs. … So as i was finishing ordering. I noticed how a kitchen worker comes up front. Not washing her hands before handling food or register….She literally had on a nasty white apron with flour everywhere Using a kitchen apron at the front counter is a major cross-contamination risk. Aprons used in the back of the house can carry raw chicken juices, bacteria, and other contaminants. When an employee touches that apron and then touches the register, buttons, bags, cups, or customer items without washing their hands, they can easily spread germs such as Salmonella or Campylobacter.

This is exactly how foodborne illness begins:
• Raw food contamination is brought into the customer service area.
• The employee switches tasks without washing hands properly.
• Bacteria gets transferred to clean surfaces or ready-to-eat items.

Not only is it unsanitary—it is against basic food-handling procedures, which require handwashing and changing aprons when switching from raw food prep to customer service.

This behavior can put customers at risk and should be corrected immediately through retraining and proper enforcement of food safety guidelines.

I had a simple order of 2 orders of the chicken fritters and 2 orders of boneless garlic Parm wings. They couldn’t get a simple order correct. I’ve ordered from them multiple times trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. It’s a joke at this point. Like how does boneless garlic Parm get mixed up with bone in with some red rub on it. They could even put the rub on evenly, didn’t look like even an attempt. People need to be fired before I’ll order from here again.

They were fast, courteous and accurate. That even with what looked like 2 maybe 3 working and a line around the building.

Most of the one star reviews on here are for doordash. Stop faulting these people for your dasher eating your food or you not tipping so it takes an hour for someone to come get your order.

If you order drive through don’t pull forward if they ask you to, you’ll wait around 30 mins even if they tell you it’ll be like 4 and a half minutes for something to cook. You’ll watch like 6 cars get served and go right on by along with everyone inside getting their orders. You’ll be told “sorry someone didn’t hear it get called out when it was ready” and sit there and realize you got handed your food that’s been ready the whole time you were waiting basically. So you spend 21 bucks for 1 tender combo and a 6 piece boneless chicken and get home to cold food and time/money wasted. It can’t be that hard can it?

It has been about one year since I’ve visited this location and it will definitely be another year. Just terrible. Still have to wait at the board for a while before order can be placed then you have to repeat the order that was placed for them to get it right and you’re never told how much it is in effort to be ready to pay. Then to top it off, you get to the window you have to repeat what you ordered yet again only to be met with an attitude then be handed cold nasty food what happened to customer service and restaurants taking pride in the food that was served.

Placed an order for an 8 piece family meal and the drive thru worker charged us for 4 2 pc and all the sides separate, she then continued to be rude when I tried to explain that she overcharged us and told me that I was wrong when the price clearly says $20.99 with 4 biscuits and 1 side! We added 2 large drinks with an extra side of Cajun fries, should’ve been roughly $40 tops and she tried charging $47 and some change! Commence to keep calling me a cracker and told me I didn’t know what I was talking about, 27 years in service industry I have below my belt! I will never go back to a Popeyes!

Honestly, im only giving a 5 star because of one guy that works there. No idea what his name is, all I know is hes the male manager that normally works days there. I came through around 4 today (2/22/26) and he was there. I love Popeyes chicken, but this location is seriously lacking unless that manager is there. When he is there I know even if I have to wait, my food is gonna be hot and fresh and if there’s anything wrong he will take care of it and the guy is super friendly. The only reason I even still give this location a chance is that one employee. Seriously…

Mr C. Was so sweet. I went through the drive through. My first choice, well, they were out of it. No biggie, I got something else. Let’s face it, Popeye’s chicken is the best thing. Ever. Then I noticed a sign that said something about “chicken dippers,” and I was like, “Oooh! Heck YES!” Well, no, it’s seasonal and he didn’t know why that sign was still up. Again, no biggie. Chicken sammiches from Popeye’s are the end all be all. And my day up until then had been a pure dumpster fire, through and through.

Mr. C thanked me for being so understanding and not sending a bunch of “hate” through the speaker. Bless him, for putting up with all those negative Nellies and keeping a smile.

Best chicken sandwich I ever ate.

Thank you, Mr. C. You are an angel on Earth.
