The front gentlemen is absolutely the best . He greeted us with kindness and even came around to our tables to make sure we had everything we needed. So polite and a perfect gentleman. He is the best , we live in the area and never expierenced this at any other fast food restaurants, he really made our day. Go visit Popeyes in Port orange off of dunlawton , so clean and friendly ❤️

Horrible experience, waited 25 minutes for a drive-through order. Man at the speaker was rude and continued to cut me off, trying to get me to end the order… Was then told to park and wait for the order. 4 other cars received their orders while I was parked. Waited 25 minutes and when they finally brought the food out, there were no drinks. Waited longer for them to get the 2 drinks that came with my order. Then when I returned home, all of the sides were missing from the bag. To have to wait that long, and then have the order be wrong, and having money wasted, is absolutely ridiculous. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!

Great experience last night, all things considered – it is after all still fast food.
The lobby was clean and the young guy running both the register AND drive through was earning his paycheck. We later saw him emptying every trash in the building while still wearing the drive through headset. I haven’t seen a fast food employee hustle like this in 20+ years.
There were a few things to improve upon – the bathroom could use a deep cleaning, there were no napkins available in the lobby dispenser the entire time we were there, and two employees seemed to be taking their time prepping and putting up posters on the windows when the cashier staff could’ve used some assistance (or even stock the napkins, etc on the lobby).
But the main thing I want to convey with this review is that the service was adequate and the food was pretty decent – which is a stark contrast to the dreadful experience at the Palm Coast store. I don’t know if the same franchisee owns both, but if not – the Palm Coast owner/management needs to get in touch worth the Port Orange team and do some shadowing/training. Absolute night and day – dedicated employees doing their jobs in Port Orange, vs. Pal Coast’s lazy, weed smoking clowns who seem to be trying to put the location out of business (go read the reviews.)

I can’t believe this location is still open, you can’t order chicken because they will make you park for a 2 piece for 30 minutes. Like common sense isn’t common for these ppl , who just throw biscuits in a bag, and the bottom of the bag under all the other food items. definitely need to close or rehire a whole new team because these ppl are just collecting a check.

I placed an online order tonight (11/24) and upon arrival around 6 pm I was informed it would be a long wait as they were incredibly understaffed. It took approx 30 minutes to get my order but with that being said the customer service that I received was absolutely TOP TIER! The gentleman running the drive thru was also making the orders had a positive energetic attitude even while being slammed with orders. My order was accurate, hot, fresh and delicious. The guys working there were working their tails off and whatever they’re getting paid it isn’t enough. I cant sing their praises enough, you guys were rocking it, don’t let anybody tell you any different!

I should have known my experience was not going to be good, when the man serving the chicken was scratching his beard. We ordered the 9 piece chicken. The drumstick was raw. The mac and cheese was inedible, cold mushy mess. Exchanged it for coleslaw that was lukewarm. The sweet tea dispenser cover did not fit and was only covering half of th tea. I will never return!

Good chicken. $5 big box deal is good. Make sure you donate $1 to get the coupon. It can be used till December. However Chicken not hot enough. Still a 4-star

That mild piece didn’t come 10 minutes after my friend finished all his meal. It’s not even busy here in the dining room or the drive-through.
But they did something right. We never complained and for the long patient wait they gave us a 3-piece meal each. The fresh pieces are yummy.

The employees are always kind, respectful, give quick service. The food is usually pretty good. I only gave the food 4 star because like KFC they seem to be purchasing chicken breasts with less meat (I would rather the price go up a dollar rather than the quality go down). Also, last couple of times the spicy chicken has not been spicy.
Love the gravy because it’s has some spice! I personally think this establishment is better than the other chicken places and will definitely go back!
