I’m next in line the manager on duty like to play a lot I don’t know what the employees said to her she picked up 2 paper bags that were ready for stuff to be packed in them n started slapping them with it playing around then I’m the next person in line when she saw her friends walking in she asked the young man which register he was using to which I was the next person in line and took her friends because she needed him to watched her dogs while she went away next week mind you it was me someone else then them. Wow but either way Jay was very professional very mannered even though the service was great I would never go back there again! The lobby was dirty, paid 12 for food my fries weren’t filled n they were cold so then my chicken got cold waiting on my fries I was so disappointed with that place I got up waited for my fries n left to go eat in my car. The cussing from the employees the chicken was horrible but the guys in the back were working hard. I would definitely drive to port Orange if I ever plan to eat Popeyes again!

I have enjoyed Popeyes chicken for years especially at this Daytona location. Not so much today. My wife and I placed our order for dine in. Only one other car in the lot, not crowded. As more people came in orders backed up and 30 minutes in we saw no movement in getting our order. Show them our ticket and they say we are working on it. Eventually got our food and the chicken was bland. We ate in the car as it was a cool day in Daytona but restaurants seem to run ac in super cool anyway. Restaurant seemed to have updated tables and chairs. Many chairs missing feet so they rock at least 1 inch difference making them unstable. Hopefully they get their act together as this is an original Popeyes that their food was much better than the newer Popeyes.
But not today!

Order a 5 piece and got basically 5 chicken nuggets the wings was the the size of a bean. Pure pathetic for them to even put that in the box. Unfortunately didnt notice til I got home. Will never come to this restaurant again

Dropped by Popeyes on a Wednesday evening and was surprised to see how packed it was—but now I know why. Ordered the boneless chicken wings with their signature hot sauce, and wow—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. The fried chicken here truly lives up to its reputation—perfectly seasoned, golden, and addictive.
The biscuits were soft, warm, and buttery, just the way you want them. A real comfort bite!
Big shoutout to all kitchen staff and also Grace at the front, single-handedly managed the rush with a bright smile and smooth service. The staff overall was welcoming and efficient, which made the experience even better.
The ambience? Clean, casual, and inviting—exactly what you want when you’re diving into some Southern-style fried goodness. I loved it.

Got 9 piece take out from this location with biscuits, red beans/rice and mashed potatoes. I was 15 min away from home, and it was still hot and fresh when I got home. Some of the best biscuits I’ve ever had! Will definitely visit again

Love manager Paul, makes sure we get fresh food everything as Ms Diane use to. I do not trust when they say the chicken just came up, those are lies the majority of the time. New Gm left a bad taste in my mouth very rude and had me thinking I was speaking to the district manager. Still a lot of overturn on workers but a few that have been there absolutely wonderful
Glad they got a new online/pickup system
Unsure if they own the property but the parking needs to be done over definitely

This Popeyes is always packed. I drive passengers around, one of my passengers wanted to make a pit stop here for food. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to get our food. She went in and said they needed manager who could start a line. We’d both worked in this type of environment. They weren’t that busy. It should not have taken this long to process a couple of orders. Usually the cars are stacked on ridgewood waiting at the drive thru now I understand why. Popeye’s get a manager that can run this place more efficiently.

I was in the mood for chicken, so I figured I’d go do to the local Popeyes.
I ordered through the mobile app and ordered 3 spicy tenders that came with 2 sides (fries and mashed potatoes) and a biscuit. I also ordered 6 ghost pepper wings. Wanted sweet heat sauce as well.
From the time I pulled up to the time I left, it took 10 minutes. There were only 2 cars in front of me so I wasn’t sure what was taking so long. When I got to the window, I saw. There was a lady working there, I think he name was Tori, she was making sure everything on the receipt was actually in the bag before it left the window. She double checked with the guy that handed me my food. Unfortunately even after all her hard work, I barely got what I ordered.
The chicken tenders, I wanted spicy, unfortunately has no spice, so I’m guessing I got regular. The chicken wings, also are not spicy, even though I ordered ghost pepper. They are actually really good wings, and if I got the flavor I wanted, I would rate this higher. The fries, although they have a good flavor, were cold. The mashed potatoes were the best part of the meal next to the biscuits. Speaking of biscuits, I got 7 biscuits with my order. Not sure why, I mean I appreciate it and will freeze the ones I don’t eat, but I feel like I got someone else’s biscuits.
All and all, this Popeyes is just average. They have some workers who are trying to do their best to make sure everything with the order is correct, but they have so many people working at one time that there’s mass confusing about what order is currently being filled. The food tastes alright, for what I got, but the accuracy was not good. I’ll give them another shot one day, but this wasn’t a good experience.
UPDATE***
After eating another wing I have to go back on what I said. With no flavor, I can only taste the oil, and with it being the end of the day, it’s not a good flavor. The chicken itself is good, but the skin just tastes like old oil.

This place is a joke and honestly on brand for being so hood and unprofessional. The way the manager and the other heavy set female were so disrespectful is ridiculous. Imagine telling me that I can’t get a refund for a bad order only to issue me the refund and wasting all of our time. And the heavy set lady was upset as if it was coming out of her personal check. They said that making an online order is through a third party even if there’s an issue and tried to give me an 800 number. Then, you stop helping me and begin to ignore me to help someone else, just for them to embarrassingly throw money at you and snatch the change back as if you’re not even a person. Just for me to finally get a refund smh. No empathy or sense. Telling lies, loud, wrong and just blatantly ignorant. They clearly underestimated my intelligence. Absolutely never again.

everytime i have come to this specific popeyes the workers are so beyond rude. normally i wouldn’t write a review but this time was the worst. when i started to order i was cut off and told to “just pull forward they’ll deal with you up there”. so i did and when i told the worker i wasn’t finished ordering the same voice that yelled at me then yelled at her co worker “they have to order back there” she eventually took my order. i then just payed and waited 10 minutes. (i was the only car that had to pull up). i only got 2 3 piece tender boxes… meanwhile, every other car got multiple bags of food. when she (the same lady that yelled at us) finally brought our food out she handed me the drinks, rolled her eyes, then basically dropped the bag of food in my lap. i checked my food of course and i wasn’t given any of the sauces i ordered (honey mustard) she only gave me hot sauce, bbq, and honey. nothing i asked for. she didn’t even give me straws. but was sure to give me a spork!!! i used manners and was polite the ENTIRE TIME!!! i couldn’t believe not only how she talked to me but also how she talked to her own co workers.
