I recently just went through the drive-thru and placed an order. The woman taking my order kept saying “Is that all” in a seemingly annoyed tone. When I went to pay, I had a coupon taking a combo from $11.99 to $5.99 (basically half off my meal). I handed the coupon to the woman and then my card. She charged me the full amount and did not apply the coupon. I got my card back, but she put the receipt in my food bag (which was unsanitary on my food) so I did not see the incorrect amount charged to me until after I had pulled away from the window. This cost me more than half of my meal price after tax and the annoyance of the worker ruined the experience before I even finished my order. I will not be back if things do not improve there.

On Sunday February 22, 2026 I ordered an 8pc spicy chicken, two fries, cole slaw, mashed potatoes/gray and some fried pickles via Door Dash. The order came quickly, but upon opening the sealed bag with the ticket showing all the items I ordered, there was only the chicken, 4 biscuits and the fried pickles. (which by the way is a rip-off. They shove a wrapper in the bottom and only put about 4-5 pickles. Tiny pickles.) I contacted Door Dash who gave me a partial refund, fine, whatever. I’ll just enjoy my spicy chicken. NOT!!! It was the regular. I mean how in the heck do you look in the bag and go yup, everything is in here and seal it up. Between that and never having chicken ready to go on a week night is beyond me. I was so excited when this location opened, but dang. It’s just sad.****who is the person responding to all the complaints I just read? Is that all you do is say you’re sorry, we try to serve ready, hot food correctly.” Dude, get a clue. You need to start over with a new staff!****

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.
Our food was ordered, then when we got to the window they charged our card AND THEN told us that our side orders were not available. We chose secondary sides since we had already been charged….and then Not a single thing was correct in our order. And we were missing the sides we replaced it’s laughable at this point because this has happened twice before and we just accounted it to “they were busy”. But now that this is the third time they’ve gotten exactly zero things correct on an order we have a review. Go to the one on Jimmy dyes. This one stinks.

Absolutely without any doubt, the worst Popeyes I’ve ever visited. Not to go into detail on what I purchased it totaled out to be seventy dollars (70) plus change. First of all I waited over ten minutes to be acknowledged and even then I had to request to be waited on. And when the young lady finally waited on me, she acted as though she was doing me a favor. She took my order and then proceeded to repeat it to me, which I thought was very nice to do. Now here comes the discouraging part. I asked for eight pieces of chicken, “ALL DARK”, which was half and half. Let me be clear about this, the food was fine but the preparation for my “TO GO ORDER” was absolutely terrible. When I got home, my red beans and rice was spilled into the bag. So was my mashed potatoes and gravy along with my coleslaw, I should have taken pictures. The problem extended from the covers on the containers being too big and placed upside down. POOR EXCUSE!!! All and all the place was very well staffed. However, I did not care for the dress code and the lack of hair covers, VERY POOR MANAGEMENT!!! What I thought was going to be a quick and simple process, took well over fifty (50) minutes.

I am disappointed with my recent experience. I placed an order ahead of time, expecting that it would be ready upon my arrival or shortly thereafter. Instead, I waited nearly an hour without receiving my food. I even adjusted my order to align with what was readily available, yet the delay continued. After an additional 20 minutes with no resolution, I chose to cancel my order and dine elsewhere. This experience reflects poorly on the efficiency and reliability of your service.

Don’t waste your time here. We ordered in the drive thru and were told it would be 3 min. 15 min later an employee comes out to ask us what our order was with absolutely no update on when it would be ready. Then I went inside to get an update and was told they hadn’t started on the order and it would be another 18 min. Half a dozen employees standing around and absolutely no one making sure food was ready. And I was not the only customer in there having to ask for an update on my order.

I went to the drive thru line at Popeyes on Lewiston Rd in Grovetown on 11/17/25. I ordered 3pc tenders with mashed potatoes & fries & lemonade. When I got home I had 3pc tenders & cheese bites. I called on 11/18/25 & spoke with the manager Makenzie & explained to her what happened. She was very apologetic & nice & told me to come by today so she can make my order right. Makenzie made sure my food was hot & that my order was correct this time and apologized again. Fantastic customer service. Stop by this location and see Makenzie & her crew.

This was the first time I got out and end in less than 10 minutes! I was shocked! They have a new staff ! The gentleman that waited on me was very polite professional hope he stays! The best it’s ever been!!Well I was there just a little while ago today l was there last Friday and it was like a different place ! Who ever was working that day needs to be there every day ! I will wait a while before trying again !!!
