However, the customer service from one of the employees behind the counter left a lot to be desired. I simply asked a question about my order, and the response I received came with unnecessary attitude. The worker quickly said the prices hadn’t changed and that they had always been that amount — but the tone felt dismissive and a little rude. It wasn’t what was said, it was how it was said.
I wasn’t trying to argue or complain; I was just asking for clarification. If I hadn’t been picking the order up for someone else, I honestly might have just requested a refund and left. Customer service really makes a difference, and while the food came out fast, the attitude definitely put a damper on the experience. Hopefully next time the interaction will be more pleasant. ✨
I decided to come here today out of curiosity and they were BUSY!! Besides mobile pick up, I really didn’t see any technology that makes the staffs job doable. I saw many frustrated employees filling orders, many of them cussing up a storm, another threw their headset off out of frustration but was doing her best to get the job done in the back.
The absolute WORST part (the woman seated), there were employees who I’ll try to give benefit of the doubt by saying were maybe on break during the dinner rush (7:30pm). One particular person may have been the manager as I saw other employees approach her for one thing or another and she had keys on her. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, she was on her phone scrolling. Then she went outside with other employees (to someone’s car) and was smoking. Mind you, I live next door and have watched multiple employees outside when they are backed up for year and I’ve even watched them smoke weed right outside the entrance. Again, I’ll give them all the benefit of the doubt and say they were likely on break but I’ve never seen employees, let alone a manager take their break during a lunch/dinner rush. It pure incompetence or complete lack of regard for their peers.
I can’t even blame any of the employees, because If the leadership/ownership is rotten, the folks trying their best to do their job will inevitably suffer and so does the customer. The male photographed here was exemplary of customer service. His attitude was friendly, and he showed empathy for my and many other customers wait. He was also extremely polite.
It seems to me, half the staff are doing their job and the other half are just punching in and punching out. The only reason this Popeyes location is still open, in my 5 years of observing this place, is because of the location.
It’s a mismanaged hell hole, with an environmental health rating of avg 75-85%.
I’m SHOCKED corporate has come down on them and its fines if it’s a franchise, or new management if it’s corporate owned.
LETS NOT IGNORE THE FACT SHE WAS ARGUING WITH THE CUSTOMER In front OF ME ABOUT GIVING HIM FRESH FOOD.
Too many reviews about bad customer service it’s sad.
I will give props to Ms. Cherry she took her. Away from the window and helped me out with a smile
DON’T EAT HERE. VERY RATCHET.
