The food quality and wait time was unacceptable at this location. I notice employees outside as I waited in line at the drive thru and ask why was the wait so long. I was informed by a gentleman that they had a big order for one of the delivery platforms so they were in the process of making fresh food and apologize for the long wait.
I received my food at 10:45pm , I placed the order on line at 10:15 pm, got home and opened my food and it was not fresh!
I ordered dirty rice and it definitely was dirty. It looked like something from off the floor that was in the trash days ago. The rice was hard, the meat in it was so old must have been from a previous day that was left out and uncovered or it came from the trash. This was a Department of Health food violation. I would never serve food like this to anyone.
I came back to the restaurant which had an even longer drive through line, I proceeded to move ahead of other cars, spoke to a team lead and he replace the order. He ask me to pick another side because the rice would look the same.
What happened to fresh food?
Please train your staff on FOOD SAFETY and HONESTY. Why lie about your service and food quality ?
This was a complete violation that can make your scores to plummet as well as cause illness to your customers and a loss of profit to your business.
I would not patronize this location again.

Horrible Service!!! I just left the drive thru and a heavy set brown skinned person who looked like a young boy but I’m not sure with a Afro told me and my mom that they only had breast left after I paid for my food so we said we’ll take all breast just to find out that they had other chicken pieces available. The manager started going off on us like we caused the problem so we told them we didn’t actually want all breast and that we will take other pieces as we thought was going to happen before the person said they only had breast available. After that we got our order and drove off and realized we were missing a side of Mac and cheese. We ordered 3 Mac and cheeses and only got two. They went off on my mom for trying to get our last Mac and the manager barely looked at the receipt before saying we brought two Mac and cheeses. The dark skinned skinny male manager that works at 10:30pm on Saturdays should be fired!!!!asap!!!!he’s definitely running customers away. Another customer stuck up for my mom and and read the receipt herself and saw there were 3 orders of Mac and cheese. Please get this store together or I fear it’s going to have a huge downfall do to poor customer service. To add to this review I just looked at the third Mac n cheese that they gave me and they didn’t give me a full serving size due to them not wanting to read the receipt!!!!! I left a photo of my receipt and the skimpy side of Mac that I received!!! Absolutely unacceptable!!!!!

This location is horrible! Delivery is NEVER safe!! Ordered a family meal and half of the order was missing!!! 2 large sides were missing and a bunch of random, mismatched chicken was thrown in the box! Called the store 6x, manager answered 3x and hung up. Last time she answered, I explained the issue and was told the dashers have been taking the food all day. Are you serious? So they’re rummaging through the bag of food I paid for and can take what they want and you’re aware??? But this was her 1st day smh. Everytime we go to or order from this location, everyone is lackadaisical, slow, and does not pay attention to what they are putting in the bag. Can’t get ahold of corporate, the online chat kicks you out and NO ONE is being held responsible for this bad food and horrible service!

Ordered a family from the drive thru, only to get to the window and told they didn’t have have half of the chicken parts to complete the order. So I said cancel the order. Then the manager asks, so you’re going to cancel the order over no chicken thighs or legs…I sure am! Needless to say, they got my order together, smdh. Just be careful. All they had to do was put a sign up saying what part of the chicken they thought they didn’t have. Then I would have pulled out of the line!

On January 14, 2026, around 9:00 PM, my sister and I visited the Popeyes location during the night shift. The employee taking our order over the speaker provided wonderful and outstanding customer service. Because my sister did not have cash, she decided to pay for her meal herself.
After the employee rang up the order, she went to get the manager so she could apply her employee discount. The manager initially started to come, but after looking at the time on the window, he stated that it was “doing too much,” even though we were still waiting for our food and had not received it yet. It would have taken very little effort for him to simply swipe his card to apply the discount.
We decided to come inside instead. The employee once again had to get the manager, but he remained standing in the back, visible to us, and did not assist right away. This became frustrating, especially since the employee was doing her job well and trying to provide good customer service.

This store always has an issue! It’s doesn’t matter how you’re receiving your food. This particular time I did a mobile order, on the app the garlic cheesy bites are still on the menu. I get to the store and realize that they weren’t in the bag, so I turn around and go back to the store, only for them to tell me they no longer serve them and it can be replaced with a pie!!!!! First off the price of the pies does not equate to be the same as the cheesy bites, 2ndly I ordered two pies already I did not want a 3rd. The assoc. relayed the msg that I’d prefer a refund of MY $3 and change back only for the manger (who said her name was Shameka) I doubt it… to approach the window as if she was already frustrated and over the day and state they don’t do refunds and closed the window, which was extremely rude and nonchalant of her. Not only did y’all fail to tell me you no longer serve the bites before hand but then you act as if I’m wrong for asking for MY money back. Then the pies are hard as a brick and taste as if they were cooked in old grease and the chicken strips were cold. All in all a horrible experience all the way around. It’s never a pleasant experience. It doesn’t matter how far I spread my visits out it’s always the same experience.

ONE STAR — AND THEY’RE LUCKY THEY GET THAT
Let me break down what’s REALLY going on at this Popeye’s — because it’s beyond a joke at this point.
I’ve been here TWO TIMES in two days, and BOTH visits were the same circus.
You pull up, place your order, and suddenly the car ahead of you turns into a parked vehicle. I thought maybe someone stalled out — nope. The employee literally told the woman “don’t pull up yet, stay right there.”
Tonight it happens AGAIN.
I order, I pull forward like EVERY drive-thru on earth, and the cashier actually barks,
“I didn’t tell you to pull up yet.”
Oh really? Since when does the customer need permission to move their own car?
And here’s the kicker — they’re not doing this for fun.
They’re doing this because they’re scared of the drive-thru timer, and they’re trying to lie to corporate by pretending their service times are fast.
They don’t care how long YOU sit there.
They don’t care how LONG the line gets behind you.
As long as that timer looks cute on a report, mission accomplished.
Meanwhile, your food is slapped together like they’re trying to sprint out the door before their shift ends. I refuse to take a rushed meal I paid MY real money for. I gave it right back.
And here’s the part that’s insulting — this isn’t about “being busy.”
This isn’t about “short staffing.”
This is about the owner trying to save money, instead of spending it on hiring enough workers to operate like a normal restaurant.
Cutting corners on labor, cutting corners on service, and acting like the customers should just sit there and deal with it.
We are not props to help them cheat a clock.
We are not unpaid employees holding up their numbers.
We are PAYING CUSTOMERS, and we deserve better than being snapped at and fed half-effort food.
The owner should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for allowing — no, CAUSING — this mess of a system.
You can’t build a successful business when your entire strategy is to hide the fact that you can’t run it properly.
This is why they’re stuck at three stars, and honestly, that’s too high for what’s going on here.
And trust me — if they keep treating folks like second-class citizens just so a report looks good, their rating is only headed ONE way: down.
I’m done until somebody grows up, hires enough staff, and stops using the customers as human timers.

I went ti this location at 11:24 , we waited almost 15 minutes before placing an order . We asked if the chicken was fresh and the cashier confirmed it was . We received our order and asked for a sweet hear sauce we were told it was 50cent , no problem . A gentleman with a black shirt came to the one was very rude as we asked for the sauce with money in hand . He proceeded to ask what we order and the young lady who took our order informed him . He talked very rude and inappropriate with a nasty attitude . The chicken tenders were hard and cold and the biscuit was hard a well . Ticket number is 638 . The store is 12308 4750 Jonesboro road union city ga 30291.
