I don’t even know why i had high hopes for this location. You can tell the food has been fried 3x plus just burned and crisp. I got fried pickles when i tell you they deep fried the pickle to a crisp and i waited 10+ mins for a surf and turf box and fried pickles… The shrimp in the surf and turf was fried to the point it was not shrimp in the inside and they didn’t put my fries.

I placed an online order at this Popeyes location totaling nearly $50. When I arrived, the food was cold. I politely asked for the order to be remade. The General Manager, Brittney, refused. I then asked for a refund and was also refused.

The manager took the food back, asked if I wanted it anyway, and I stated clearly that I wanted fresh food or a refund. She said she could not do either, closed the drive-through window, and then returned and told me to leave. When I explained that I would not leave without either the food I paid for or a refund, the police were called instead of resolving the issue.

I left with no food and no refund.

This situation should have been handled easily and professionally. Refusing to remake cold food, refusing a refund, and escalating to police involvement is unacceptable customer service. I have since filed a chargeback and formal complaints.

On 8/1/25 I placed my lunch/dinner order from Popeyes via Grubhub while at work. Unfortunately, when the order arrived, the food was extremely old and clearly not fresh. Due to my limited 30-minute lunch break, I wasn’t able to return it or seek a replacement in time. This is unacceptable and whoever packed this box should be ashamed

Store needs a full reset. I don’t know if workers don’t get paid enough or they just feed off each other’s energy but it’s not civil or well mannered. Front dining is always closed/no cashier. Every worker has a bad attitude, except one or two. They literally ignore you and act like you’re bothering them. Workers have no integrity. Check your order before leaving the store because 10/10 something is missing. Ice/Drink machine needs to be cleaned, I hope sanitization is being taken seriously. Never a polite experience except that at least the chicken is seasoned. I haven’t ordered the bone in because I know for a fact it’s going to be less quality.My advice is to go in, be patient and be direct about your needs. Expect a complication. Receiving the correct order, sauces, napkins and utensils with my online or drive thru order would be nice & if not too much, a smile.

My first time at this location. It’s new so exterior is on point. At drive thru I ordered 3 wings and a biscuit and a 3 piece chicken tender with mashed potatoes. My order didn’t display on the monitor, she said she was using a different kiosk. She said my total was $19!!! I pulled up and complained immediately. I think she tried to ring me up for a combo. The cashier fixed it and the correct total was $15.92. Still high but more realistic. The food was good. I will definitely go back. But won’t drive out of my way.

This location has been a mess since day one. It’s always backed up, never stocked properly, and the customer service is usually terrible.

Tonight was especially frustrating. I placed a mobile order at 8:00 PM and arrived at the store by 8:15, only to be told there would be a 45-minute to 1-hour wait for my food. I was then told if I wanted to cancel the order, I’d have to do it through the app — which is ridiculous. Why can’t the store cancel it directly?

When I asked for help, the young man at the front counter told me his manager would have to assist me. I agreed to wait and mentioned that this was my first time using the app and I wasn’t sure how to cancel it. While I was trying to sort it out, the employee told his manager not to bag my food because I “wanted to cancel,” even though I had just said that if they could make the food now, I’d still take it.

When I questioned him, he looked at me and said, “That’s not my problem.” Seriously? Then he continued laughing and said again, “Yup, still not my problem.” That’s completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior.

Thankfully, the manager eventually came to the front and did try to help me cancel the order through the app. I appreciated her effort — this complaint is not about her.

I understand how food service works — I’ve worked in fast food myself. I know things can get backed up and systems have limitations. But what I won’t accept is the lack of respect and accountability from staff like this young man. The bigger issue here is not just delays or low stock — it’s the poor attitude and lack of basic customer service from employees who clearly don’t want to be there.

Do better, Popeyes. This location needs a serious reset.

Ordered a combo online. Went through drive-through. Sat at the speaker and i heard nothing but silence. Had to say hello a few times before I got an answer. He asked if I could give him a second but I was put off because he could’ve told me that from the start when I pulled in. Anyway, he finally came back and I told him that I had an online order. The girl at the window handed me everything without a greeting. She definitely gave the vibe that she didn’t want to be there. I took my food anyway- they had the bag stapled. I get back to work and discovered that I didn’t get my full meal. So disappointed because I paid over $10+ dollars for a whole meal. I’m still confused about how they missed putting the food they shorted me in the bag, they had no foot traffic while I was there.

Just read & believe the other reviews. There is ALWAYS an issue here. Last time the credit card machine wasn’t working & they only took cash. Tonight I ordered a five piece meal: they had no legs ‍♂️. I had an offer on the app for a cash discount. Asked the rep, she said no discount was available. She asked if I wanted hot sauce & honey. Got home: no honey, no spork . So not only was I (probably) overcharged, didn’t the food wanted, also didn’t have the necessary utensils to eat. Management PAY ATTENTION to the reviews. There is clearly a problem at this location. Definitely my last time going here

I live in Tyrone And I drive over to Union City because this Popeyes has got a problem. They always messing up my order they don’t know how to batter chicken. The staff always got an attitude. In heaven for bed, you try to come in an hour before they close and ain’t happening. It’s sad because it’s a great location, but I need to do better.

I was not allowed to half classic and half spicy my 9 piece tender family meal. Tenders were not crispy and biscuit was slightly hard. No one asked was sauce I’d like. What I asked for they were out of @5p.
