I’ve always enjoyed Popeyes especially the ghost pepper wings and coleslaw. But this particular time, is it my imagination but aren’t the wings smaller than usual and when did they start filling the cups of Cole Slaw half full. You know to be honest times are truly hard when you pay $12 for food when I should have went to the grocery store and cooked… Just Saying…

The only reason it didn’t get one star was because the food is usually on point! But the customer service…. I stopped after work to get some dinner before going home. I’m now second in line before the window. I could hear everything happening at the window. After the transaction in front of me is done, the young man working the window is holding everything up because he was hitting on the girl driving and asking for her phone number. When i honked in frustration, he just pretty much he said he didn’t care and laughed. The manager didn’t even care when I brought it to his attention. No apology. He’s just kept repeating “I’ll talk to him.” I work in customer service, and I’d be mortified if any of my coworkers treated customers like this.

Rude. Inconsistent. When I try and message support they do not give you a clear answer. They offered me a coupon. Not my money back. Imagine spending $22 after a 16 hour shift to get food on your way home and they tell you it’s not in their system. Which is a lie because on my side it went through. This is absurd crazy. The poor drive through girl didn’t know what to do. I didn’t want to leave because I’m starving but the manager in the back was screaming for us to pull off. Sorry lady I need my food or my money back now.

If I could rate this Popeyes location a -1 I would. I was in Douglasville visiting my son from Detroit and since the Popeye’s locations at home are always so delicious I thought although this is a chain, but since it’s Down South surely it would be kicked up a notch. Was I ever so wrong! This had to be the absolute worst meal I have ever had. My sister started eating her food first and said it had no flavor. I ordered a two piece spicy all white with a sis of red beans and rice. I got a side of pasty red sauce with rice, no beans! I hadn’t eaten since morning so I forced down the beans and the bland tasting wing. It tasted as if they mixed some type of no flavored hot spice in flour and coated the chicken. No salt no flavor no nothing! As you can see from the photo they had the nerve to put this blob of I don’t know what in my bag and call

And this thing looked like it was bruised and probably had been sitting out and they dipped it in flour and cooked it again. You could see the layers of flour and nothing but grease! It looked like a meteorite that fell from Mars! If it hadn’t been so late we would have definitely returned for a refund. You all should be ashamed of yourselves for serving such obvious trash!

I gave this Popeyes another chance, and it was a mistake. My son ordered two meals. The biscuits were rock hard, and the chicken tenders were tiny—more like popcorn bites than tenders. The quality was unacceptable. I can’t believe how unprofessional this location has become. It’s sad to watch, especially after seeing how Steak ’n Shake declined. I really hope Popeyes doesn’t end up the same way. PLEASE DO BETTER POPEYES!
P.s to whom will be replying to my review – this happened today 12/26/25 @ 4:40pm Hwy 5 location. I also agree with the last review wings were tiny! This is extremely pricey for the quality and quantity.

I purchased 12 family meal on 10/3/25. The chicken had NO TASTE at all the biscuits was hard as a rock, the rice was cold as well as the chicken. The cashier he was very nice and professional he had to adjust my amount. The Manager (a lady) came from the back of the line to make the correction on my order. Let me make this clear it was not the cashier’s fault it was due to what I wanted they did not have enough spicy for my order. I started my dollar amount should be less. I think we as customers should get what we pay for and we should be pleased too. We pay TO much for us not to be HAPPY!

Horrible customer service even for a fast food restaurant. Put in an order online, arrive 20 mins later to pickup and the drive thru personnel had me wait on the side saying my order wasn’t ready, then proceeded to forget about me for nearly an hour while serving over 10 different cars and even more walk in guests while I was sitting directly facing the drive thru window and saw her see me waiting. Whole time my food was sitting on top of the chicken area in a bag. Indoor cashier was stunned but then all she had to say was did I want any honey or hot sauce, and another worker who looked like the manager just looked and said nothing.
