I am extremely disappointed with my first and LAST experience using the Popeyes app for delivery.
Normally I order through DoorDash, but I decided to use the Popeyes app this time so I could specifically choose the pieces of chicken I wanted (since you can’t do that on DoorDash). That was clearly a mistake.
I placed my order and was told it would take 45 minutes. After waiting the full 45 minutes (and then some), I received a text from someone claiming to be my delivery driver saying they had “run into a little issue” and that my food would be late. I immediately responded asking what the problem was and how long it would take because I didn’t want cold food. If there was a serious issue, I would have preferred to just cancel. Their only response? “Alright.”
After waiting another 10 minutes, I asked where they were. That’s when they said they had a flat tire and were changing it. Meanwhile, I’m still waiting with no real update or timeline.
I then tried calling the Popeyes location multiple times. No one answered. Not once. This is not surprising, because Popeyes locations never seem to answer their phones.
I tried using the support feature in the app, only to be met with automated messages that wouldn’t even let me type out my actual issue. I was forced to choose from preset options that didn’t really apply to my situation. The system said a ticket was opened and someone would reach out within minutes. No one ever did.
Instead about 20 minutes later, I received an email saying my order had been canceled and my funds would be refunded. No explanation. No apology. No human contact whatsoever.
I tried calling again and even searched for a corporate number. It is nearly impossible to reach a real person at Popeyes. Everything is routed through automated systems, which is incredibly frustrating and frankly pathetic for a company this large.
This experience was a complete waste of my time. I will never be ordering through the Popeyes app again. If you value your time and want actual customer service, I suggest thinking twice before using their delivery feature.

Laporsha is the WORST! Never experienced such rude customer service in my life….and this is the 2ND TIME!!! Just a big ball of attitude. And that’s who y’all put in the window to greet customers???? Got served raw chicken, fries literally THROWN in the bag (none of them in the fry bag) and got the wrong drink. I ordered a fruit punch and got a lemonade. Entire meal wrong. Won’t be back. I paid for a 3 piece white meat chicken combo, when I got home it had 2 piece white meat and 1 piece of dark meat. I called 5 times no one answered the phone. It would be a waste of gas to drive back there, this is my last time ordering from this place. The female at the window knows she put dark meat in it. She will remember me because I asked her if she had T mobile and I should her the bag they were giving out to their customers. So I lost money because she didn’t give me what I paid for.

This is the worst Popeyes I’ve ever been to. The drinks were terrible tasted flat. The food was below standard compared to other Popeyes like the food was cooked in old cooking oil. The service was terrible as my order was messed up 3 times and items were missing. Like it’s not that hard to pay attention to what you’re doing when reading the order. And no it was busy during that time. It’s more like the people working there are slow in the head. So I will not be returning to this location period.
