Normally I order through DoorDash, but I decided to use the Popeyes app this time so I could specifically choose the pieces of chicken I wanted (since you can’t do that on DoorDash). That was clearly a mistake.
I placed my order and was told it would take 45 minutes. After waiting the full 45 minutes (and then some), I received a text from someone claiming to be my delivery driver saying they had “run into a little issue” and that my food would be late. I immediately responded asking what the problem was and how long it would take because I didn’t want cold food. If there was a serious issue, I would have preferred to just cancel. Their only response? “Alright.”
After waiting another 10 minutes, I asked where they were. That’s when they said they had a flat tire and were changing it. Meanwhile, I’m still waiting with no real update or timeline.
I then tried calling the Popeyes location multiple times. No one answered. Not once. This is not surprising, because Popeyes locations never seem to answer their phones.
I tried using the support feature in the app, only to be met with automated messages that wouldn’t even let me type out my actual issue. I was forced to choose from preset options that didn’t really apply to my situation. The system said a ticket was opened and someone would reach out within minutes. No one ever did.
Instead about 20 minutes later, I received an email saying my order had been canceled and my funds would be refunded. No explanation. No apology. No human contact whatsoever.
I tried calling again and even searched for a corporate number. It is nearly impossible to reach a real person at Popeyes. Everything is routed through automated systems, which is incredibly frustrating and frankly pathetic for a company this large.
This experience was a complete waste of my time. I will never be ordering through the Popeyes app again. If you value your time and want actual customer service, I suggest thinking twice before using their delivery feature.
This is my favorite location and the manager noticed me and refused to sell me the pies because am a loyal customer! SMH
When I pulled up to order they said they closed at 9 and it was 9;07 PM ?

This location has the worst service , stay away , don’t waste your time .
This is the second in a while since I’ve been back , won’t be back ever.
