They even remembered us from the last time we came in and remembered what we ordered. We will be coming again and telling everyone about them. Those women need a raise. Went here to pick up food for my wife around 5:40. Cashier had an attitude and didn’t want to give me the food cause I didn’t have the receipt that gets sent to my email. Email never came. I did have screenshot of confirmation from when I put order in which had on it what i had ordered, my name, and pick up time. Could even show where it came out my bank account. None of this sufficed for her. She got more of an attitude. Eventually was given my order and it was also incorrect. Had stuff missing out the bag and had some wrong stuff in the bag.

I ordered a large fry and they tried to give me a regular fry in a large fry box. And then tried to gas-light me about it. A large fry here is almost $8.
Then I ordered 4 extra biscuits, which are $2.39 each. $10 worth of biscuits. Not in my bag.

I ordered my food over the web in order to get a special meal discount. When I arrived I pretty much had to repeat the entire order to the woman at the counter. Even still I had to go back and request my coleslaw which they forgot. I had asked for dark meat chicken but after I took a bite I realized they had given me white instead. On a positive side the food was quite good especially the cajun fries and the coleslaw. I highly recommend the hot apple pie.

It’s super expensive because it’s in this truck stop. Aside from this, the place was very clean, the people who work there were friendly and nice, got my order quick, can the food was fresh and hot. I wish the Popeyes in my town was this good. I would give them more than three stars if it wasn’t so expensive by being in this truck stop.

It is worth the drive to go into florence amd go to the Evans St. location instead of stopping here. They NEVER have chicken patties so getting a chicken sandwich is only for the lucky few I guess. Today I made an online order of a 8 piece family meal with a specific pick up time so I could have a hot fresh meal to take home to my family. They ignored the ticket and made it immediately and left it sitting under the heat lamp. I asked the manager ( or the only person in a different color shirt) on duty if the meal had just been made and sat there for the entire time. I was told that its company policy to make the food as soon as the ticket comes in and ignore any instruction. I then asked if the fried were going to be cold and nasty and she just shrugged her shoulders and said maybe. Then explained it was company policy and walked away to eat her food. The restaurant was completely empty at the time so i wasn’t interrupting business

If I could give it no stars I would. Horrible experience. Definitely not what I would expect for a place right off 95. Incompetent staff. I felt bad for the manager. We ended up getting a refund instead of the food.

A good place to get a meal in the Florence area
Popeyes is a popular fast-food chain known for its delicious fried chicken and Cajun-inspired flavors. There are over 2,600 locations across the United States with many located in Georgia. This is one of these locations. It is easy to get to being close to I-95 and just south of the new Bucees. It is in a BP station. There is plenty of parking to the west of the building. It is an interesting layout with a separate section of the restaurant and a small sitting transition area between the BP store and the restaurant. The actual restaurant had a few booths along both sides and some in the middle. It seemed an odd layout. You order at the counter and wait for them to prepare the food. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant area was not very clean with dirty tables and floors. My food was prepared quickly and was their delicious “Louisiana-style.” flavor that I enjoy. The prices were very reasonable. Overall, the food was good, it was easy to get to and the prices were reasonable. I would recommend this to my fellow travelers craving a good meal at a reasonable price in the area.
