You know I wasn’t gonna write anything. But here I am. I ordered a bundle. I was supposed to get 6pc bone in wings. And some other things. But when I got there they said they didn’t have bone in. Or ANY wings. They proceeded to tell me I had to refund online ! And wouldn’t help me figure out how to do that. So I picked something that was the same price. Then she comes back and tells me that they have boneless wings. So I got the boneless. Overall the so called manager, did not speak to me once. Or offer to help. She just glared from the back. I do appreciate the nice little girl that was on the grill who actually helped with no attitude. They drive through lady ignored me while talking on the headset to the manager. And I will not EVER be coming back to this Popeyes. I wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy. – and to add. I know how it is to work fast food. And customer service.

I went soons as they opened in hopes of fresh food. And although my food was fresh. I didn’t order a box of chicken legs with very little sprinkle of ghost pepper seasoning. I ordered ghost pepper wings but got a lazy excuse of food. Do better.

Had the displeasure of going to this dumpster fire or a Popeyes today. While I patiently waited 15 minutes a long with other customers. They worked diligently to give me not what I ordered and in the worst way. Not spicy chicken but plain. I could go to KFC for good plain chicken. And my red beans… Really just rice and barely a spoonful of beans.

Came into the store today and the manger sat outside smoking a cigarette those WHOLE 45 mins – 1 hour while three teenagers ran the store on their own. The food and service was GREAT. Just didn’t like how the manager was not helping. She’s an older white lady, blonde hair, grey shirt, and hat. She has to go IMMEDIATELY!!!!

This place has went down, We started going back here after a few months of bad experiences but we met the General Manager Ty and she was amazing she had turned this place around we caneback to visit to find out she was no longer there a big mistake. I had a terrible experience at the Popeyes in Newberry, SC. I went through the drive-thru on Friday, August 16, 2025. There was no line — I was the only customer — yet I had to wait about 15 minutes for a single Classic Chicken Sandwich. During the wait, the employee was rude and unprofessional.
After driving all day, I took the food back to my motel room, only to discover that the chicken was raw in the middle. I had to throw it away and go without dinner.
I contacted Popeyes corporate to request a refund or credit, but they refused to help unless I could provide a picture of the raw sandwich — which is unreasonable, considering most people don’t think to photograph unsafe food before throwing it out.
This was a complete failure in food safety, customer service, and accountability. I will never buy food from a Popeyes location again.

I came today for early dinner. My chicken sandwich was cold and waited 15 mins after i ordered and Worst part is since 6pm I’ve been in bathroom all night. Its 2 am and I have the chills, shaking, very upset stomach, diarrhea constantly. Why would you do this to me? I spent my last dollar with your place, and im really sick. I have a family to provide for and it 2 am and im still shaking and in bathroom all night.
If you dont like your job, quit. Dont poison people. I pray God will strike this place down. Vengeance is mine says the Lords. Please Jesus destroy all who work here!

I believe these people poisoned my husband. He went there for lunch and he said the guy that took his food acted funny. Made him wait in parking lot and not at window. Food came out warm/cold. Fries not hot at all. My husband said he was very hungry and just ate it. A few hours later my husband was in bathroom with diarrhea and extreme stomach pains. His crap smelled like the food. Hes in extreme pain since.
If you care about yourself stay clear of this place as we will never return. In columbia this is my husband favorite restaurant. Never again!

We came around 4:15pm on 10/26/25…A SUNDAY…this is the 3rd time (seems like I would have learned by now) coming on a Sunday. All I wanted was a chicken sandwich and the new Carmel apple cheesecake thing. My friend wanted a tender combo. 1. NO CHICKEN FOR THE SANDWICH 2. NO CARMEL APPLE CHEESECAKE 3. NO FRIES. I HAVE NO WORDS. I do, but I’m not going to use them all. How….HOW…do you run a CHICKEN PLACE and have NO CHICKEN???? I did not have a plan B after driving 2 hours. After this time, I’m done. I think it must be a “Newberry” thing because the other 2 places we went were not great experiences either. The girl on the drive thru was pleasant. Do better!!
