Went through the drive-thru late afternoon of 1-19-26 and ordered the $20 family meal. I had a Popeyes gift card I received for Christmas. They do not take them at this location. It should be mandatory that all stores take them. So at the window I was trying to get my money together to pay because I do not give anyone at a window my card. The manager must have asked why the delay because the cashier said I was getting the money. They were so eager to get me out of the way and yet still failed to put the biscuits in my bag. I live 15 minutes away. Went back the following afternoon and told them they failed to give me them to me and I wanted them. The manager told me she could not give them to me. I buy a lot of food from this location. I am sure they throw away way more than 4 biscuits at night. Do better Popeyes.

I’m all about customer service! The food could be horrible but as long as customer service is good everything else will follow. I arrived at the window and said good afternoon. I asked whomever was working the window if they still had the $20 meal. I asked what did that consist of and the individual said “Huh?” in a very condescending tone. Employees don’t understand how important customer service is. It can make or break a business. I didn’t even order the meal because how dare that person make me feel as if me asking what the meal consisted of was a problem.

I was warned that Popeyes always makes mistakes, and it was confirmed in this visit. Nice staff, but how do you eat Mac and cheese driving down 95 when they forgot to give you the spork? Ugh..took forever waiting for them to cook too. Good thing they were very nice!

The chicken was fresh but seemed undercooked and it was a nasty spot in one of the tenders. I didn’t receive the ranch or a fork for my mac and cheese or napkins.

I was so excited about trying the new strawberry biscuit that everyone was talking about so I went to the Roanoke Rapids NC location. Everyone I seen had a box that it came in but I received a upside down cup lid on top of my biscuit which was not closed down because it was upside down sitting on the biscuit which also was not hot or warm. I purchased two of them and the edges was hard. I had to wait to get home to heat it in microwave needless to say it took away all my excitement and I won’t be returning for another one.

My grandfather got a Popeye’s gift card that came from Lowes Home Improvement for Christmas. The Popeye’s in Roanoke Rapids will not accept these gift cards and will refuse to let people use those gift cards. This is unacceptable since these cards are in all stores during Christmas.

I ordered food tonight and I received it in a timely manner. I checked my bag but unfortunately it was after I had gotten home. Everything was right but I was messing an order. I called and spoke with the manager and she apologized for the inconvenience and offered to replace my order honoring the same couponed item in it’s entirety. I went back to get the replacement and by my surprise no one was frustrated because they had to replace anything. Nice staff. Great job!!!! Thanks Ciera and Shirl!!!!
