Reviews
First… They only missed the drinks. No I wasn’t mad because we shouldn’t have pulled off without them. It we were in a hurry so we didn’t go back. The food… OUTSTANDING. We had a little of everything and I tried it all… GRADE A. The chicken tenders, shrimp, 10 PCs Chicken Family Meal, Fries. The Mac and Cheese was cheesy, the Cole Slaw was excellent. Everything was HOT, FRESH and most importantly… ACCOUNTED FOR. The ghost chicken sandwich is what is bringing me back tonight! Like right this moment. I’m late doing the review… but it is deserved. I see they’ve been having a hard time, I hope this review helps. It was an after though to take a picture so don’t mind the messy plate.
I ordered thru mobile app. One time I was given a random order of someone else. I noticed it before I left, and I had to wait 20 minutes for them to get my order ready. So they didn’t even have my order ready. They were just giving whatever was available at the moment.
2 weeks later, I was told my order was just picked up by Dashdoor delivery when I was pulling my car drive-thru. They told me that they can’t give me refund because they gave the order away but recommended putting another order because they can’t give me food without a new order. I got on mobile app but couldn’t get it refunded because Popeyes itself doesn’t have a customer service. It is completely automated, and it doesn’t have an option to ask for refund on order. It refuses to give you refund in any situations as you can find it on their website. Told the employees that I couldn’t get refunded. I was told that they can’t do nothing. No food. No money back.
Ended up spending almost 60-70 bucks for 8 pieces with 2 sides.
Unfortunately my last time is no better than my first. Something is always wrong here no matter what time of day, dine in or drive thru, busy or slow.
I’ve sat in their drive thru for 40 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me and an empty parking lot only to receive wrong and dead food.
The staff deliberately avoid the front counter and stand with their backs to customers and act like they can’t hear you while they poke around on their phones or chat and laugh in the prep and dish areas like there aren’t 8 orders in the red. They take orders and take money without communicating to customers how long these exorbitant waits will be. My average wait time here has been 30 minutes. For *fast* food.
The staff could not care less that you are there. In fact, they’d probably prefer that you weren’t. They serve as warm bodies so that the restaurant can claim they are open and doing business.
It’s not just me, they treat all their customers like this. When you’re standing around for the better part of 30 minutes waiting for food you see things.
My orders have been dead, wrong, items missing and even hair in my food mid bite-which was horrific.
I see that the owner keeps responding to all of these reviews on google and I just feel like his time would be better spent actually being present at his restaurant hiring staff and enforcing service expectations rather than pasting AI generated replies to reviews. This location will almost certainly be a low volume store, which always makes food and service worse, if this continues.
I really wanted to like this place because it’s so close to home, but they just can’t seem to pull it together here. This is not fast food. I can be in and out of an Olive Garden faster, and more pleasantly.
Eat at your own peril.
Whoever told the team that they did a good job during the rush was a liar! There were hardly any customers inside and they still had trouble getting fresh food to the customers!
This is my first, and LAST time, here!!!!!!!!!!
Update: Gave them another chance and somehow they got worse being open longer. Chicken strips barely had any chicken and were skinny. Looked like Burger King chicken fries.
Never coming here again.
