I called DoorDash about my order but he told me to call the store for a refund & gave me the number. I spoke to the assistant manager ( I won’t mention his name) who was very nice but said that he couldn’t give me a refund and that I had to come to the store. I told him that I have no transportation that is why I ordered delivery. He told me to come in soon & get a replacement meal. I am a senior citizen, no transportation & live in Petersburg with medical issues.
I appreciate the offer but I don’t know when or how I can get there .
The food otherwise was good except the dark pieces which were thrown away.My grandson didn’t get his fries
I spent about $58for my order( including delivery fee& tip)
That’s a lot to spend and not receive what was ordered & the wrong pieces of chicken or a refund

So I have a rule that I never visit any restaurant or fast food joint within the first 90 days. I don’t recall when they opened, but I think it’s been over 90 days. Anywho, I stopped in to sample a few menu items as dinner was waiting for at home. I ordered a 3-piece mixed, 3 biscuits, and a chicken sandwich.
I saw my name on the screen as being prepared. 15 minutes in, I’m starting to wonder where the food is. After 20 minutes my name disappears from the screen. There are only 3 employees working and for about 5 minutes they all disappear. I finally catch one coming to the drive thru window and request a refund. I wasn’t rude, but I did explain that I can no longer wait and need to leave (had my son with me who was tired). I was told it would take “a couple of days” for the money to return to the card.
The atmosphere was nice, but there is no one at the front counter. There’re 3 kiosks you order from, but there is seating. The atmosphere is nice, but the neon sign I’ve the counter that says “chicken” had 2 downed lights, so it just says “chick.” Kind of unfortunate since it hasn’t been open that long.
Many of the people who ordered inside were dealing with long wait times, even the food service drivers. It appears they prioritize the drive thru over the lobby which is unfortunate.
Like I said, this was just to sample a few menu items with my son, but left with no food and a 2-day wait for my money back. Pro tip: flag down an employee to take your order at the counter and pay cash so if you opt not to wait 30 minutes for your “fast food” you can at least get your money back in real time.
Will probably not return, but if I do it will probably be a very long time.
