The food here is good not great just like the customer service. It took entirely to long for someone to show me what same is a “regular” I know small, medium and large eventually I had to ask them to show me the sizes. This may have just been a off night because it happens but they had to make everything fresh (except my chicken sandwich) which isnt that bad which is why i gave it 4 stars (fast-food am I right) they even had to make my sweet tea and gave it to me with no ice…..lukewarm tea with no ice. The whole place need a deep cleaning though as well as the parking lot. If the employee’s seem to not care neither will the customers. Will I come back here not at night

They need to be shut down immediately. The bigger the Popeyes the dirtier it is. First off it smells like somebody pooped on themselves when you walk up to get your food. Red flag. I ignored. The chicken and wrap were raw and hair in the mashed potatoes. They need 0 stars.

I mostly order delivery since it is most convenient for me, and a lot of times it chooses this location automatically when using the app. I have ordered from this specific location a total of 5 times and literally every single time they tell me that they do not have chicken to make sandwiches. Whenever I call to talk about this issue and ask for a possible refund, or even credits or replacement items, (since I usually spend more than $25 per order) they always tell me it is not possible.
So every single time I have ordered here, I have been essentially robbed.
So a warning to all; PLEASE NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION SO YOU DO NOT LOSE YOUR MONEY FOR NOTHING.

This location is not for the faint of heart or the ones on lunch break. Every time I have come here I expect it to be better. IDK why I waited in the drive through line for 15-20 minutes before i got to the speaker. I had to repeat my order 4xs and once I paid, I still had to wait! They asked me to go around the corner to wait for my food. Now mind you, the inside dining area was almost empty. Idk what was going on but I didn’t like it and will NOT visit this location again. Whoever owns this location needs to replace management because they are allowing epic failures regarding staffing and efficiency.

If you’re ever in the downtown area of Norfolk VA do not go to this Popeyes. Told the two girls who took my order I didn’t want breast and they put 2 chicken breast in the box after I said I didn’t want them. And the guy who made my sprite I don’t know what he did but it did not taste like sprite , no ice tasted very sweet seem liked they were playing over my food will not go again if I could give negative stars I would. 0/10

This is an okay location. The workers don’t seem like they want to be there and take pride in trusting there ability to give great service etc… The shift manager looked very depressed talking with the crew members. The store looked fairly clean in the dining room but the back of the house looked like they needed to take more attention too. Some things looked like they were unorganized

This place is absolutely unacceptable in service and in food quality. Ordered the chicken strip family meal. The strips were literally GRAY. Completely un-edible. The sides were put in the bag so sloppy. The staff is completely disrespectful. I will never go back to this location (which is right by my house). Avoid at all costs.

I’m not going to lie, I almost died I ordered through the drive-thru yesterday and was told that they would have to cook parts of my order fresh, which is fine. I didn’t mind waiting at all. They brought my order out to my car and they did include the sauce that I really wanted. Okay so boom, I get home and I am ready to demolish Popeyes because I haven’t ate it since I moved from Tennessee. This is where my near death comes in. Something told me to rip my chicken tender before I ate it and the chicken was rawwww . I’ve never had that happen to me at any place at all. I guess that’s what you get for having a big back craving. I’m traumatized and will not eat any Virginia Popeyes again ❌ might even make a TikTok if I’m feeling spicy. Also, the spicy chicken sandwich that I ordered for my boyfriend was raw as well. He threw it away and did not take photos but yeah. The chicken is still clucking over here.
