I don’t usually go to Popeyes, but I decided to try it out for the first time because I saw the seafood advertisement and I was really craving some good shrimp.
I went through the drive-through, ordered their little shrimp basket. I was blown away when I got home by how terrible it was. I took a photo of the minute. I opened the box.
I don’t know what their chicken is like, but let me tell you this Shrimp was the worst I have ever seen. It was all batter If you wanna call with that… and the shrimp were tiny, dried up, shriveled shrimp.
The biscuit was hard. I could probably knock someone out with it.
I will never go there again.
To be fair I gave them three stars because I feel sorry for the employees. Also having never had their chicken I wouldn’t know If they were worth less … not because I think they were worth 3 stars at all.
Absolutely do not order the shrimp! Unless you don’t mind mostly batter and no shrimp!

This restaurant never disappoints. I have come several times and I always leave satisfied. The quality of the food is consistent, and there is always something new and exciting on the menu. The staff is very friendly and always willing to make recommendations. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, perfect for a peaceful dinner. Highly recommended!

Popeyes used to be one of my favorite places to eat. I feel the quality is not there any longer, the quality and the downsize of the portions. The store was not clean, it was very small and crowded. I am having a hard time with popeyes. I keep giving them another chance, but each time, it is upsetting. A 4 PC chicken meal, 2 PC chicken dinner, each with one side, and a 3 PC chicken tender with a side was just over $50. It’s too expensive now and the quality of the meal is not a good value. I also think the restaurant needs to focus on cleanliness. The chicken was not at a standard that popeyes once had.

I cannot rate the food, because I was refused service. I wanted two items from the $5 menu. I wanted to pay $5 for a 3 piece chicken, and pay another $5 for two sides.
The cashier did not understand English, which is okay, but maybe she should be cooking instead of working the counter.
She called someone over, and he explained what items were available for $5. I told him I understood the menu, and wanted to place an order. I tried again to order.
Someone who I assume is a manager came up to the counter, and told me they didn’t have 3 piece chicken. I was looking right at the chicken. I asked if I could order two sides, and he said he didn’t have that either, before I even told him which sides.
I told him I was just going to go somewhere else, and he said yes.
I never raised my voice. On the way out I said “they don’t sell chicken or mashed potatoes”. I was incredibly angry, but I was not rude to them.

We went thru the drive-thru today and the employee taking our order was very rude, giving us an attitude. We asked is they had popcorn chicken and immediately got the sense this employee was annoyed we didn’t know they no longer carried it. The order was incorrect on the screen and my husband ,who was ordering, mentioned it to make sure we had the right order. The employee very hastily said “yeah I heard you!!” and a few other smart remarks. The food was fine, but I’m giving them 1 star for very poor customer service.
In addition the speaker at the drive thru wasn’t clear, so we had a hard time hearing the employee. The employee mentioned they couldn’t hear us, so we spoke up. All that contributed to the issue, but we were definitely being talked over and he had a major attitude. My recommendation is to get a new speaker to start.

Friendly staff. Nice and clean restaurant. A bit small and no self serve kiosks. Wasn’t that hungry so wanted a 2 piece chicken combo but that wasn’t on the menu. Got the 3 piece combo. Tasted fine but chicken must have gone up in price as I thought the 3 pc combo was a bit expensive compared to earlier visits and similar restaurants. Got spicy chicken but it wasn’t spicy at all.

The first 2 times, the drive thru customer service was not good, 2 different ladies, hesitant to return. The 3rd time, it was great, very nice Hispanic male, greeting customers with a smile and very polite. 4th time was good, friendly customer service. 5th visit, (on a Friday night) altho food was missing from the order before departing and after, the young lady was very apologetic and agreed for me to return another day (Monday) to get the food I didnt receive. Overall, a big improvement with customer service from the 1st few visits. The food has always been good, fresh and hot.
