I’ve been here 40 times. Always good. Always friendly. Service always accurate. Best value: order two crispy breasts (w/biscuit). Fresh, moist, crispy, great chicken flavor, and more than enough to satisfy a hungry man’s appetite. There’s a serious reason some ethnic groups have rated this #1 for many years – it really does not get any better than Popeye’s if you want fried chicken! (But stay away from the fried wings – they are scrawny and just about the only low-value item on the menu, at least in our local area; once the servers get to know you, they’ll steer you away.)

I only stopped here because I have fondness for their a spicy chicken sandwich with extra mayo (the Mayo is where the spice is). That being said the sandwich at this location was a good sandwich but not nearly as crispy as I am used to, and that is one of the things I like best about the sandwich. In any case the service was excellent and the sandwich was fine.

A little bit frustrated, as I was extremely hungry and on my way to an appointment and wouldn’t have time to go back or stop somewhere else. I ordered chicken strips meal and they didn’t put any sauce in the bag as I requested and they didn’t even put a spoon for me to eat my mashed potatoes with. I wasn’t going home so I couldn’t really eat much of the chicken strips because I have 0 sauce to eat it with and not my potatoes ethier since they didn’t provide any silver wear. At the very least could you have provided some ketchup or hot sauce and something to eat with. There was only one car in line when Ordered, it was not very busy. However, when I arrived at the window multiple coworkers were standing around chatting. Very unfortunate customer service abilities.

Today this restaurant does no deserve any stars at all. First of all I ordered a breast and leg and got a breast and 1 inch wing. The chicken was dried out as though it was cooked 2 days ago and thrown in grease. I called to report it 6 times and the person kept hanging up on me. I gave up, however, the chicken wi. Needed a big dinner quick and Popeyes is always a hit!! They even split the chicken between spicy and regular!! Family loves the beans and rice but I like the yummy mac and cheese. They were out of the berry beignets… 🙁

Pathetic, i ordered a 12 piece chicken at the edgewater store and I received a box of chicken that looks and tastes like it has been under a heat lamp for 2 days, the chicken looks like pigeon parts and dry as a desert.. I will never go to this Popeyes ever again.it was 5 o’clock in the evening, you would think it would of been fresh.. but not. Very disappointed in Popeyes and every other fast food in Edgewater.. they all are bad. I suggest Royal farms.. they are the best around
