Of all my 46 years of living and after moving through several states and towns in Maryland, this is hands down the WORST Popeyes I’ve ever been to. The food is never hot or fresh. Just look at this chicken…I bought it right when they opened today! Why does it look hard, black, dry and OLD!?? You’d think in this area the food would at least come out fresh, and the service would be decent. But it’s not.
This location has had issue after issue. I even had to dispute a charge from here once.Today was the last straw. At this point, I refuse to come back. I’d rather drive out to Waldorf or La Plata before ever stepping foot in the Charlotte Hall Popeyes again.

What has happened to the taste of the food? Chicken is bland and missing that signature Popeyes flavor. Biscuits are blah. Cole slaw is suspect and the fries are horrible. Biting into chicken that has no seasoning is an absolute slap in the face. Get it right or close up shop!

I can’t dispute all the negative reviews of this place but I’ve never had a negative experience here. I’ve never seen long lines or the inside dining area not open.
I had lunch there today and the food was fine. The folks taking orders were friendly, quick and my food came out hot and quite tasty.
The dining area was clean, albeit not crowded at all. I was the only one eating inside the restaurant at noon on a Saturday. I’m not sure what that says overall but I didn’t mind.

Bad customer service at the drive through window. Forgot every one of my sides which I didn’t realize until I was home. Came back to get the sides. Drove back home again to see I got spicy chicken when I requested original which wouldn’t be a big deal if I didn’t have an aversion to anything spicy smh.

Went thru drive up. Didn’t take long, order was accurate minus the dipping sauces we asked for. Very pricey. We got 3 3piece strip meals which came with two sides and a drink at it cost $48.00. Personally, I think that is a rip off. So, not knocking the food or the employees, just the prices.

Sitting here waiting and waiting for a spicy chicken sandwich. Meanwhile the parking lot has a handful of employees just hanging out. 23 minutes to get the food. The food was good however Come on!!! Let’s get it together

Waited 15 minutes or more in line at the drive through. No movement whatsoever for 15 minutes. Once to the speaker I was told it would be a few minutes. 8 to 10 minutes later. Finally I was asked what I wanted to order. Chicken and I gave the order.
Then after all this time and going through the motions. I was told that Popeyes didn’t have any chicken. If I wanted to wait for 15 minutes but it could take longer. I was told.
We left wondering what could possibly be going on in this place.. and why wouldn’t we be told right away that Popeyes chicken didn’t have any chicken to sell..
There were four cars in front of us and five behind us… drove any shaking my head..
The staff was caught off guard that people were going to order chicken on a Friday night..

This place really plucks my nerves. The girls while working the drive thru are absolutely horrible! Have to repeat what you say 5 times cause they more focused on Lord knows what! And why? Why doesn’t this place ever have the Fish Sandwhich in stock. You’d think mgmt would order enough based on sales history and lost sales due to no stock. Come
