Amallo the manager at this location is very rude and unhelpful. I do not recommend. You can get better service in LaPlata or even the location off of Crain Hwy in Waldorf. The customer service is nonexistent. It’s truly a shame. No wonder everyone avoids the mall now, it’s people and service like this.

Even though my main concern is the food court itself that is disgusting, and this is coming from someone who has work experience walking around the back entrance areas that the general public aren’t allowed in. But this mall has had an ongoing infestation problem with rats and roaches for YEARS as far back as 2007 if not longer than that. There was once a time a rat even fell out of the ceiling’s paneling somewhere in the food court. You’re putting your own health at risk by choosing to eat from a mall that has these unsanitary conditions.
Something happened to this Popeye’s back on June 15th, 2025 — This mall’s Popeye’s was temporarily closed for the second time because of a cockroach infestation once again. Seriously, I often ask myself why does anyone still bother to eat at this mall’s food court? This mall needs to be condemned already, it’s not advised to eat here at the risk of finding roaches or rat droppings or even poison in your food.
Technically even though the whole food court at the Saint Charles Mall is infested, it’s just a matter of which fast food areas take care of their stores better than the others. Either way, I wouldn’t recommend eating at this Popeye’s, or this mall’s food court in general.

I had just ordered a meal today ( 3-22-25)and my order was wrong. After I returned to correct my order the manager was very rude and another employee wanted to fight me. This is a poor representation of the company. I will never!! Spend my money at another Popeyes. The costumer service in the Waldorf area TERRIBLE!!

Terrible, my last experience made me never want popeyes again. For one they got my order wrong, secondly the young lady at the drive thru had a terrible attitude. When I get home to realize my order was wrong i go back but this time inside and it’s literally filthy. The manager corrected my order, however the i noticed as he is trying to fix me a new meal the same young lady is trying to literally play around with him in the middle of him attempting to make it, meanwhile there is also a whole line.

The place closed 45 minutes before they were supposed to. The cashier was doing his hair on the line which clearly is a violation. When I showed them the order i was picking up they said they had none because they were already closed, yall close at 9pm

The staff at this establishment appear to lack the requisite knowledge and expertise to effectively serve customers. This is the second time in the past year that I have had an unsatisfactory experience at this particular Popeyes location. As a result, I have made the decision to no longer patronize this establishment, regardless of its convenience. In the future, I will make the effort to seek out alternative dining options that provide a higher level of service and quality.

TERRIBLE Service!
I pulled up to the drive thru window at the Popeye’s in Waldorf, MD on Crain Highway and when I got up to the window, the cashier welcomed me with her back turned to me for about 5 minutes. I had been waiting in line at the drive thru for about 30 minutes! No joke. She had a Huge bad attitude. She was very rude and very disrespectful. She and I had a few unpleasant words. She looked to be about 16, and again very disrespectful. When I got home and pulled my food out of the bag, my order wasn’t right and the fries were cold. I did not get what I paid for. If I could give a rating lower than 1 star, I would. I won’t be going back to this Popeye’s.
