I come to this Popeyes often, and today I noticed the girl with pink hair who always gave amazing service wasn’t there. She always greeted my family with a smile, asked how we were doing, and was quick, respectful, and consistent. She’s one of the main reasons we kept coming back.
I’ve also seen her—and other workers—get mistreated by the manager on shift. One time I watched this manager completely ignore her when she asked a simple computer question, and the girl still apologized even though she was clearly just trying to learn. Another young girl with red hair in a ponytail is also great—quick, respectful, and always welcoming—along with Catherine, who is always kind and soft-spoken.
At one point I asked the pink-haired girl why she worked there, and she told me—with a smile—that she was saving for school. Nothing negative. Just a hardworking young woman with goals.
I don’t know if she’s been fired, but if she has, I’ll be extremely upset. And honestly, with how this manager acts, it wouldn’t surprise me. The way she treats employees is rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. She talks down to her staff, ignores them, and acts like basic respect is too much effort. The employees care more about customers in a single shift than she shows her team at all.
If higher-ups actually paid attention, they’d see the problem isn’t the young workers who are trying their best—it’s the management driving good people away.
By day, the service is immaculate. The staff moves with efficiency and actual courtesy, orders come out correctly, and most impressively they always seem to have everything on the menu.
At night, the service completely falls apart. It’s almost unbelievable how quickly the quality shifts. Items that were plentiful just hours earlier suddenly “aren’t available.” And the customer service feels like an afterthought. It’s as if the nighttime crew clocked in with the specific purpose of being completely disheveled and unorganized.
What’s most frustrating is that it could be great all the time, because it is great during the day. But the nightly experience is such a dramatic drop in quality that it overshadows the positive and leaves you wondering why management allows the inconsistency to persist.
If you go, do yourself a favor, visit before sunset. After that, it’s a gamble and the odds are not in your favor.

Cons: The order of macaroni and cheese cold have been more

I will attach pictures
To start, the tenders were shriveled, the chicken tasted old, and they had to have been reheated at least six times—to the point where I couldn’t even chew through them. The fries were equally bad, and I can’t believe they serve food like this with a straight face.
I ordered through the app (because, again, I’m a fanatic), so I didn’t get to see the food being prepared before I sat down in the dining area to eat. I’d say they only serve food like this because they’re in the jood, but I live near the one on MLK/Malcolm X Ave, and the food there is always fresh and hot.
I hope management takes this as constructive criticism and makes improvements because it’s a simple fix.
