Genuinely the most incompetent, careless workers I’ve ever encountered in Middletown. We pulled up to the drive thru around 5:40 and ordered popcorn shrimp, then halfway through ordering the next meal we were suddenly told they were out. Same thing with the cupcake cup, confirmed they had it, then told they didn’t. After paying, we pulled forward to wait a few minutes for spicy tenders. When the order finally came out, there was no marinara sauce and the cheesy bites we paid for were missing. I went in and told them and he gave me the missing marinara and side of cheesy bites. However, it looked like he just gave me the leftover scraps from what was already cooked. He obviously did not care when I questioned the portion size and told me that it only comes with 10 of them. Please see the attached photos because this is ridiculous, especially for $4. No straw or napkins either, and the whole thing took 20 minutes while we had groceries in the car. Genuinely so frustrating and my family will not be returning.

Hopefully you can see the flour and other dirt on floor in back and same with by the counter. I was in there a few weeks ago and an Indian man was standing in front of chicken facing the drive thru coughing without covering his mouth. If they can’t bother to clean up what kind of bugs and rodents are inside. I am going to report to health department in a minute. I will never eat at Popeyes again after seeing the conditions. I called and left a message with the health department but probably won’t hear back till next week because of Christmas Eve.

How does 3 cold, tiny chicken tenders and a small fountain drink come out to over $10? And they charge extra for any sauce. How cheap are your managers that you need to charge a quarter for a single sauce? They also didn’t offer a receipt. I went back in after seeing my cold chicken, and they had a huge stack of tenders piled up, probably without any heat, and the guy in the back just stared at me while I was being helped by the one decent worker there. Heard them arguing with another customer about how a meal doesn’t come with a biscuit and it would be extra, and that it was corporate’s decision. No, a meal comes with a side, a biscuit, the entree, a drink, and a sauce. I would not be surprised if people at this location are scraping off the top. The only reason they get more than 1 star is because the worker who helped me after I returned, the youngest of anyone in there, was polite and professional.

My husband and I went in last night for just chicken. It was our 1st time going in to this location. The staff were very pleasant, busy. Addressed the 2 young ladies in front of us, someone on the headset, then us. Each staff members interaction with customers that we observed was professional, proficient and friendly.
Multiple staff members, place was clean and neat, plenty of chicken at 4pm on a Saturday. Definitely ready for the dinner rush.
Our chicken was hot! And delicious! We both prefer the chicken breast meat, it was moist and tender. Best fried chicken we’ve had in a really long time.
This is going to be our new chicken place!

Literally just had food poisoning from this location and I wish I looked at the reviews before eating there because I would’ve never did so….

I did not get the sauce I requested with my meal. Instead of friendly service and understanding, the cashier decided to speak to me in a rude and demeaning manner. The service is unbelievably terrible, with some of the employees just openly yelling at you. It ruined my entire experience and Chick Fil A is just down the street. Not worth going here.

Over $19 for 5 small tenders, a spoonful portion each of mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and a drink is criminal. They messed it up too and didn’t give me spicy tenders. So cheap with the sauces. 2 sauces after paying $4/tender is criminal. I used to love popeyes but this is a rip off.

We miss the Dirty Rice and the Onion Rings. They were the absolute best! Please bring them back!! We won’t be coming back to Popeye’s until they add the Dirty Rice and Onion Rings back onto their menu!!

MI’ve given Popeyes way too many chances. Every single order is missing either sides or sauces that they charge extra for, even after I double-check at the drive through that everything was put in the bag. It’s a complete waste of money. They are utterly incapable of getting a simple order right. I should not have to contact customer service to refund me every single time I order from here
