We were so excited for the opening of popeyes in our area, we drove by on 2/8 and noticed it was open to our excitement we stopped in right before lunch time, walked in and noticed the kitchen was hidden (why?) and there was only one table and some bar seating against the window so not much room if you expect to eat there. Ordered a 3 piece chicken and 6 boneless wings meals and waited about 20 mins for our order with no other customers in the dining room and/or no one in the drive thru, we did take our food to go, got home and got 3 tenders not 3 piece chicken we brushed it off as a new opening mistake but no the chicken was terrible over greasy and tasted just awful, sides where also not any good mac and cheese was hard on top and the mash potatoes gravy tasted funky…such a disappointing visit for such a excitement to see them come to the area, we have agreed to drive 20mins to another location.

Great location and the kiosk was a nice touch , the young man working at the counter offered to help. Very nice staff and the manager even offered a drink while I waited for my food. Fast service and I look forward to going back !

I’m honestly embarrassed to say this but I’ve been here almost 40 times since it’s opened a month ago…
And in that time the only thing they have ever gotten wrong in my order was they gave me extra fries like probably 6-8 times. Chicken sandwiches are great biscuits aren’t to dry very fresh.
I went one time at 10:52pm 8 minutes before closing like a jerk and they still smiled and said goodnight.

I am very happy that the chicken is cooked in beef tallow (rather than in the very inflammatory industrial seed oils such as canola oil). My ghost pepper chicken sandwich was delicious. The side order of macaroni and cheese was quality, BAKED macaroni and cheese; it was far better than I would have expected from a fast food joint. The biscuits were good tasting and moist. All and all I am very impressed! The only downside is that it’s primarily a take out place, with only a small seating area.

We’ve been here three times since they opened. My family keeps asking to go back. Their Mac and cheese is the best and it has been delicious every time. The staff is new so they’re still figuring things out/service is a little slow, but no mistakes across our three orders. The restaurant is really small with not much seating, but we’ve always done carryout.

Considering they just opened and got their app running as well as the DoorDash deliveries, they are doing great. The food is great, the service is great. Some people expect too much from a fast food place. They are getting hammered by a lot of customers all at once, and they are handling it better than most other places. Keep up the good work, and welcome to Harleysville.

Very nice stuff!! We walked to the restaurant in the lunch time and I got my food two minutes after I ordered . Also, I liked how an employee handed me the food with a nice smile.

Fried chicken is lacking flavor compared to other locations. Also there are no deals in the app for this location. Hopefully they can improve. We’ll definitely give this location another try as we like Popeyes.

I ordered my meal through the kiosk on my lunch break. Food was ready within minutes of sitting down. The customer service delivered by Annisha and Ivy were superb. Establishment was very clean and staff were friendly. I would definitely return again. Happy to have Popeyes in Harleysville area
