This Popeyes is located inside a travel stop. It’s clean and comfortable to enjoy your food or take a break from driving. The only issue I had with Popeyes was that my food was cold and dry. The three piece chicken was dry and tasted like it been sitting out all day. I was in a rush so I didn’t bother to make an issue about it.

It’s a turnpike service station location, so prices are astronomical, service amazingly slow, place is not clean and employees do not care.
I did get to finally try their vaunted chicken sandwich which I liked. The spicy version needs to have some spice but the crunch was good.

Ordered the Classic Chicken sandwich Regular combo ($13.99) with a coleslaw side and lemonade.
Lemonade and coleslaw were too sweet, too much sügar.
Popeye’s chicken sandwich was delicious. It’s crispy, but it’s not dried out. And the seasoning, it’s so flavorful.

Unsure which restaurant kiosk’s responsibility is to refill cup lids at the self-serve soda fountain, but the smaller lid holder was empty. I opened the lower cabinet below to restock them myself.

I was driving down the highway and decided to stop at this service plaza because I needed to get gas. I was running low on fuel both for the automobile and my belly. I got some chicken and fries and ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture first. Popeyes is Famous Louisiana Chicken.

One of the best fried chicken IMHO. We normally get mild, but we tried spicy on this visit because they were totally out of mild dark meat, ugh. They said they’re not making any mild dark meats. I felt they didn’t deserve 5 stars for that.

Upon placing our order we noticed that water was being sprayed from the kitchen under the fryers to the front counter area. Totally unacceptable to be performing this cleaning detail with food exposed that is being offered to customers during dinner hour. Water spraying grease, paper debris and old food crumbs everywhere!! Turned off by what I saw that I took my purchase, which was incorrect, by the way, uneaten and threw it in the trash where it belonged. Absolutely repulsive!!!
