Pro Tip: Always order ahead on the app and select a pickup time. Then, arrive 5-10 minutes after that scheduled time. My first drive-through order had me waiting about 15 minutes in the parking lot. However, my 2nd and 3rd app orders were ready immediately when I arrived—zero wait time. The staff are super nice and the food is consistently good. Highly recommend this pre-order approach!
Horrible customer service. They close at 10 o’clock on Sunday’s but at 9:15 they gave attitude in drive-thru because they “close soon”. 45 minutes is not “soon” and there was no need to make that comment as part of the transaction.
I do NOT recommend this store.
Past Review:
Service was less than desirable in a warm, clean, and (mostly) organized setting. The manager informed us they were out of blackened chicken, Cole Slaw, and Sweet Tea at 1 o’clock on Christmas Eve. There were 3 people working and the restaurant was empty, but we had to ask for lids for our cups because there weren’t any stocked. Manager kept telling cars in Drive-Thru there were only 2 people working, but by my count there were 3. They locked the doors after they turned away the gentleman behind us because they had no gift cards to sell.
They give you a wait time, of ten minutes but they take twice as long, and there’s nothing you can do but wait.
This visit, I drove up and sat there, waited about 4/ minutes at the speaker as the only car in the drive thru, finally someone said “give me a second”!!!
Ok, I gave my order, he says, pull up without giving me a total, I pull up he says it’ll be ten minutes.
I drove away.
Popeyes has pretty good chicken but y’all need to vet the owners you partner with. It doesn’t seem to be working out.
Please do not be condescending,
*” we know waiting isn’t fun”
It’s what is called fast food, you throw the food in a box and hand it out a window, not hard.
If I wanted to wait 15 minutes I would go to a restaurant sit down and have someone bring it to me on a plate. Just stop with the AI generated responses.
I placed a mobile around 11 AM. I show up 20 minutes later. About 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. The place looks closed. Not a single car in the parking lot or customer inside. I walk in and I’m greeted with a loud “FOR HERE OR TO GO” from behind the counter. Guess we’re skipping the simple “hello” today? Anyway, the lady yells some stuff to people apparently working in the back, essentially asking what they’re doing. Then starts getting my order together. Which somehow still hasn’t been completed after 25 minutes, even though there’s not a single car in the drive thru, or customer in the lobby.
I was in and out pretty quickly. But then I drive back to work and realize both chicken items I ordered were completely wrong. I ordered the spicy chicken tenders box. I got normal, non-spicy tenders. And I was given the wrong sauce. I also ordered the original boneless wings with bbq sauce. I’ve been to Popeyes once, so I wanted to try a few things. Those were wrong as well. The box was labeled as “honey pepper lemon”. Not what I ordered. And much to my surprise, it wasn’t even Honey Pepper Lemon wings inside the box. So not only were they not what I ordered, they also weren’t even what they were labeled as. That level of incompetence is almost impressive.
The food was decent enough. But shouldn’t it be? That’s literally what they offer. Why should I rave about a chicken join having decent chicken?
Putting it bluntly, I can see why the place was empty. And if they screw literally everything up that badly at 11 AM in the morning when nobody is around, I can’t imagine what it’s like during busy hours.
I’m sure I’ll get some generic “we’re so sorry for your experience” to this review. But nothing will change.
Save yourself the time and go elsewhere.
