My daughter and i and my two grandsons, ages 3 &6 were at the Township 5 restaurant (store 13827) on SuperBowl Sunday at about 5:30. We mobile ordered a family meal to eat in the restaurant. They were busy with a lot of drive through but our food was ready in a short amount of time and was fresh and enjoyable. The crew of workers were polite and courteous. The Manager, Michael was so nice to use and to my grandsons. He went above and beyond! Thank you Michael, all mangers should take a lesson from you. We will be back soon.

These “employees” are scammers at heart. They will automatically size meals up to a combo and charge you for it if you don’t catch it. All I wanted was a spicy sandwich and fries and they kept trying to charge me for a drink I never ordered. They have done this multiple times which I had to go and correct. Go to any other Popeyes but this one so you don’t get scammed

After ordering on the mobile app. When I arrived I was told to pull forward in the drive through. Which took another 15 minutes. Then when we had recieved our food it was the incorrect order. We pulled around and went in to get the right order. Then had to wait another 30 minutes, and did not receive our full order! Would not recommend this location if you are short on time or have screaming children in your back seat!!!

The staff is unprofessional. Lazy. Don’t care about drive thru time or customers. Waited 30 minutes for a 5 piece that ordered mobile. The two cars that came after me was told to pull to the side as well. Was told 7 minutes till the chicken was done but it was really 15 minutes. Only seen two people productive but no communication between staff. Manager walking around while her team is struggling. Asked for two extra sauces and was told no! After giving us two sauces we didn’t ask for and forgot my strawberry jelly. But waited 30 minutes for some darn food. They are extremely stingy with their food especially the French fries and it’s always in a bag and not a box! ALWAYS. Asked for mash and gravy barely any gravy in here. They the closest one to me! It’s absolutely ridiculous. And I had my 2 month old and 5 year old in the back seat! Crying ready to go. They need to get it TOGETHER! Where is the GM or cooperate?! I know y’all see these reviews.

have to say, nicest popeyes ive ever visited in a long time. the gentleman who took my order was very nice and gave us extra sauce at no extra charge. everything was so clean inside. not too busy. waited about 5-10 minutes for food but was in no rush anyways. the food was hot and fresh and very delicious. they did not low ball me on the amount of tenders I ordered.. would love to be able to visit here again. i recommend visiting this popeyes if you are ever in the camillus area!

When Popeyes first opened at this location, the initial reviews were very negative. Customers reported that lines to order were long, that once ordered the delivery of the food was slow, and that the quality of the food was not as good as that at other Popeye locations. Although I live near Township 5, I waited several months before first visiting this site to give them a chance to work out their problems. I thought they had succeeded, because I enjoyed the meal and gave the restaurant four stars in my initial review. However, I recently returned to find that although there were no longer any lines, the service was slow and the food was not what you would hope for. Even though no one was ahead of me when I pulled up to the take-out window, I was asked to pull ahead to wait for my order. After about 15 minutes I backed up to the window and asked how much longer it would be. I was told that I would have my food in one minute. I pulled forward again and waited another 8 minutes before the food was brought out. I ate in the parking lot. The order did not have the ketchup I’d requested, nor were napkins provided. Also, the drink was not what I had ordered. The shrimp and chicken tender combo was also disappointing. Small shrimp were covered with a thick coating that was not crisp. The chicken tenders were anemic. Thin shredded pieces of chicken, like the shrimp, were thickly coated and not crisp. The shrimp, chicken, and a side of cajun fries we’re all at ambient temperature. Overall, it was the worst fast food experience I have ever had. My advice is if you want excellent chicken tenders hop on 695 East and drive two miles to Tully’s at Fairmount Fair, and if you want outstanding fried shrimp, drive an additional mile east on Genesee Street to the Fish Cove in Westvale Plaza. Popeyes at Township 5 is just too inconsistent to trust.

Everything was going good until they asked me to pull “up” to end of sidewalk so I could wait for my food. No problem. 20 minutes went by, problem starting.
The worker came out, the BACK BACK DOOR with his dirty gloves on, carrying my food in bags. PROCEEDS to give the bag a little swing to it as he walked by the full garbage wheel barrel that’s practically blocking access to the door entirely.
He swings the food, over the garbage as to avoid the carried bag from hitting garbage piled up out top of wheel barrel.
Absolutely disgusting, no one’s wants their paper food bag to just barely miss brushing up against multiple bags of garbage…..to then say, yes I can’t wait to eat this now.
Also, I don’t have rewards at Popeyes so whose rewards number is on my receipt?

Terrible restaurant. They can never get the orders correct and be prepared to either not get everything you order or have to go back and have them correct it. They don’t care when they mess up your order either.

Addendum: If I’m going to complain about previous visits, it is only right to commend for future positive visits. Today, I ordered a 12 piece family meal. They were quick and efficient. Such a good experience I asked to speak with the manager and say thank you for the best service I’ve ever had at this location. Moving forward, I will continue to visit this location although I may temper my expectations on more popular items that are often out of stock.
Out of flounder sandwich. Out of shrimp combo. Ok, fine. Order spicy 3 piece tender combo. Get to window to pay . “Sorry. We are out of spicy. You can have mild or wait 10 minutes. (I’ve waited too long for similar before). Fine. I’ll take that. I guess I’ll deal. Get home and for $11 (counting tax) is 3 tenders, approximately 16 fries, and a biscuit that I had to reheat despite living a 3 minute drive from the store. Photo attached. This isn’t my first visit nor first complaint for this location. It is hands down the worst location I have ever visited.
