I wish I could leave no stars. This was the first time something like this happened to me. I got food tonight (6/27/25) and my boyfriend was eating his chicken sandwich and a spider fell out. We threw out all the food and took pictures. This is extremely disgusting!! This was the first and last time I get Popeyes. I would appreciate a refund or something.

This was the absolute worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I ordered online ahead of time so I could just pick it up and go, thinking it would be quick and easy. But no. Not here. I stood at the counter for probably 10-15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. There were two other people just standing and waiting. They got their orders. Then a doordasher came in and was immediately acknowledged, meanwhile I had been waiting. Another 5 minutes goes by and then they finally asked me if I was picking up. My order was sitting there the whole time getting cold.
They also didn’t give me any of the sauces I asked for.
I should have known to check before I left, since the other two people who were there had to come back and ask for their sauces. Guess they’re stingy here. Just awful. Left such a bad taste in my mouth I don’t think I’ll ever come back to Popeyes, period.

This use to be one of the best place to order your meal, but I’m not sure if management change, I came here today on December 22, 2025 from the NYC, and very disappointed I couldn’t order what I wanted as i always have in the past. I’m not ordering no special combo just thighs 6 spicy and 6 original crispy. And the women with the black hijab continue to tell the cashier at front not to give me what I wanted to order. I told her why not. I’m paying it , she said sorry we don’t do that .. how? I’ve always ordered what I wanted. It’s a DISAPPOINTMENT THAT POPEYES IN SUNRISE IS TELLING its CUSTOMERS WHAT TO ORDER. Well, now I make sure people know what kind of business you running here. And I have not been here over a year and half. Customers are always in the right and we have the right to order what we want if we paying for it!!!! Bad customer service and rude as hell …!!! My social media would know about this too… we shouldn’t be turn away if we still paying for it.

The only good part was the chicken. I ordered a chicken sandwich combo with no pickles the lady nodded and put my order. The fries I got were not that good but at least it was correct. They forgot my drink which was an ice tea but when I got it, it was really watered down. Finally the chicken sandwich was good but they still gave me pickles. They also ripped my receipt so unless u ask for it u don’t get it

This Popeyes Location has to do better. I barely come to this location but at times when I’m shopping around Westfield sometimes my kids will ask me for some and its just never a pleasant experience. Wait times are long for what you order, and the counter people seem lost and like they don’t want to be there. Management needs to start checking in more.

Overall the food was not fresh chicken was dry as if it sat on the shelf for a while biscuits were dry not fresh coleslaw was not fresh either was very disappointed. Haven’t had Popeyes in a while felt like having it and was disappointed overall quality everything went downhill I will have to try another location next time to see if it’s location or just overall quality everything going down

ordered from the Bayshore Popeyes inside the South Mall on November 10th, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with this chain. The chicken was old, cold, and had absolutely no flavor. When we went to eat inside, the staff said the dining area was closed even though the sign on the door clearly said they close at 11 PM.
I contacted customer support about the issue, and they claimed it was resolved, but I never got a refund or any confirmation. Between the bad service, poor food quality, and lack of follow-up, this location completely missed the mark. I’ll be taking my business to the location in Brentwood.
