Approximately two weeks ago I made an order through the drive thru for the$20 family meal. I was asked to pulled to the side because the wait was approximately ten minutes for the chicken. I was happy to wait for fresh chicken. Within like five minutes they brought my order to the car and I was off. When I got home and opened the box the chicken overfried, dry and hard. It appeared to be chicken that had been refried. I am definitely happy blowing $20 on something I could not eat but driving back that night wasn’t an option. Last night I decided to give them another shot being that the Nanuet store is on my route home and hoping that my last experience was a one time mishap. I stopped there last night and purchased the fried pickles, the shrimp tackle box and the flounder fish sandwich combo. I spent around $22. I advised the cashier that the beans and rice looked off and she just said, “it’s beans and rice”. When I got home and began tasting the food approximately half of the fried pickles were over-fried and hard and the rice and beans were dry. All of that was emptied in the garbage. The shrimp basket and fries were ok but didn’t taste fresh. I didn’t bother tasting the flounder sandwich. I will NEVER return to this location and it’s a shame because it is a brand new location and convenient for my commute home. I will not continue to waste my money for services not rendered.

Very disappointing!!! Placed order through the drive through. Ordered two 3 piece chicken with biscuits and one 6 piece wings and one order of mashed potatoes with gravy on the side. When I got home and opened the bag I received one 3 piece chicken and one 6 piece wings. Mashed potatoes were covered in gravy!!!!! Order receipt attached shows chicken orders mixed up but we only received one of each and were charged $27 and change!!!! Would like a refund for the item I did not receive.

This spot is legit. The chicken was hot and extra crunchy, but the service is what actually blew me away. Lizbeth was working the counter and she is an absolute rockstar. She was fast, super friendly, and made sure my order was 100% correct.

The food is good. I can’t argue with that. The service needs some work, but as a customer you have to be diligent. Make sure you ask for exactly what you want and make sure you get exactly what you ordered. 2 out of the 3 times I went, there were big problems with the order. Don’t be like me and wait until you get home to check. I finally went back with my receipts and let the manager, Mahlik, know of the problems. He listened, was helpful, and rectified the issues (and then some). Mahlik is an exceptional manager of this newly opened location and handles issues and his employees with professionalism and grace.

stopped into this Popeyes recently, and one thing I always look forward to here is the rice. A lot of fast-food places overlook the small side dishes, but Popeyes really treats their Cajun rice like a main event. It’s packed with flavor, seasoned perfectly, and has that signature savory taste you can’t find anywhere else. Every bite has a nice balance of spices without being too salty or too heavy, and it pairs well with anything on the menu, whether you’re grabbing chicken, tenders, or even just want something quick on the side.
What I really like is that the rice always seems fresh, warm, and consistent. Some locations struggle with sides being dried out or sitting too long, but here it was the opposite—moist, flavorful, and clearly just made. You can tell they actually care about preparation.
The rest of the visit was smooth too. Staff was polite, the line moved at a reasonable pace, and the restaurant was clean enough to enjoy dining in. But honestly, the rice stood out the most. It’s one of those little things that keeps you coming back, because not many fast-food spots bother to make a side dish this good.
Highly recommend grabbing the rice—it’s underrated and definitely worth adding to your order.

Cant complain about the food but waited over 20mins after ordering on the app. Came to the window and had to wait another 5mins where they came back twice asking for my name then said their computers were down. It felt like it was my fault cuz it looked like the person in charge was scrambling and trying to fix the issue but was very unsure what everyone was doing in the store. They could’ve been proactive and gave a special coupon for the delay but it seemed the MOD didnt handle her staff to the computers being down. Ill think twice next time on ordering again from here.

Placed a mobile order of tenders + fries and it took 50 mins for food to come out. Multiple workers came out asking our name and order several times, yet still nothing. At least we were offered a coupon of 50% off that could only be used the following day .

Ordered a 16 piece meal, asked for dark meat, mostly legs, got home & it was mostly white meat. Also took forever like they didn’t know what they were doing. Looks like kids running the show. Didn’t see a phone number and was not about to drive back. I’ll continue going to the one in SV.
