I came here because they had good reviews. I had a free 2 piece for a survey If I buy a drink.It was a leg and thigh i don’t like legging thigh but the guy was good enough to upgrade it to wing and breast .I asked to have it put back in the hotel grease for 2 min i like my chicken extra crispy the guy at the register did it for me. It was nice and cleaning in this restaurant.It looked pretty brand new so I would recommend this place pretty good.

I live in Wildwood so my stops to this Popeyes in CMCH are sporadic. However I will say each time I have done so, I’ve been pleasantly impressed.
Most recently, I placed a late pick-up order to go while running errands here and noting that the closing time was 10PM, I tried to arrange a pickup as quickly as possible. Owing to a brief unforeseen issue, I was delayed and did not arrive until 5 after 10.
Thankfully, the gentleman {who I presumed to be the manger but am unsure} was still available and able to accommodate me and even gave me a free bonus drink. His super courteous attitude was very much appreciated and in my experience, genuine.
This is not lost on me as my dealings with other fast food franchises have not been of the same stripe in parallel instances.
Also, the food was delicious and no, this review is not one stemming from any incentive other than my own gratitude.

My drink was no ice and i had to tell the guy no ice because he was putting ice my order no wing and i just found a wing instead of the breast in it when i get home driving 20 minutes first time buying food there btw so awful

My wife and I walked to the counter . I tried to order and he told me ladies first and proceeded to flirt with my wife . She didn’t respond so I told him I order for us he still doubles down and says it’s still ladies first I want to hear from her . So I told him we are leaving before I end up doing something bad. He proceeded to play and mock me like it was fun and games . He’s very lucky I know Jesus cause he was bout to get hur bad.

This is a new restaurant so there’s still a bit of work getting the kinks worked out with operations, but overall the service was “okay”.
Placed a mobile order about an hour earlier with a pickup time of 6:45PM. Arrived around 6:40 and saw a line of about 20 cars in the drive through, so I went inside. Overheard a gentleman saying, “They just locked the doors” as I was heading towards the store, and found out yes, they locked the main double doors (with customers inside). The side door was unlocked and I went in. Shortly after getting in line of about 15 people, another employee taped “Drive Through Only” on both doors. Waited in line for about 10 minutes while occasionally hearing people try to enter (and exit) through the locked doors. Some people that tried to enter went back to the drive through, some still came inside, some just left.
After getting to the front of the line (10 minutes past pickup time), I told them my mobile order and they brought the food and placed it in a bag. They weren’t sure of the sided I ordered, so I told them, and they prepared them as well. They didn’t include the cup, so I asked them politely and they gave me one. They didn’t include the sauces I ordered, but I didn’t think too much of it since they were slammed.
Onto the food, it was delicious! The blackened chicken was delicious and seasoned well, and the fries and biscuit I were told were tasty as well.
My main takeaway is that when the store gets a full staff and all the bugs worked out, pickup via app will be fast, and there’s not going to be much confusion on drive through/in-store pickups.

This service is very slow but this place is new so they are still short staffed. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and made to order. I will definitely come back.
