Worst Popeyes in all of New Jersey. I had been a regular here but this was the last straw. I would give them zero stars if possible. I could see the kitchen all dirty and the cook pushing the dirt from the metal surface around the fryers into the oil with a spatula. I have seen them making my sandwich multiple times WITH NO GLOVES over my multiple visits here. Absolutely disgusting! The staff barely speaks any English and they try to argue with you illegibly and talk down to you. God forbid you ask for anything extra. They also talk nasty bout you in Hindi. No matter how much food you order, they charge you for dipping sauces like the cheapskates that they are. I had a $80 order and they didn’t have the courtesy to give me free sauce. Apparently it only comes with tenders and nuggets. The staff is rude and impatient and the fries are always cold and soggy as if they’d been sitting around. The chicken is a hit or miss. Sometimes old and dry and sometimes undercooked and raw (see pictures). Sandwiches are always cold and soggy like they’re pre-made. And the managers have no idea about customer service and are absolutely clueless about everything. Save your hard earned money and avoid this location at all costs.

We had always liked Popeyes fried chicken much more than KFC’s, because they were more flavorful and you could order them spicy. And they didn’t disappoint this time.
On the other hand, everyone in my family liked KFC biscuits a lot better (lighter and fluffier). The Cajun rice side order was also a bit salty and overcooked.
So 4 stars for the chicken and 2 stars for the 2 side orders.

This store is really awful. My order was incorrect, the food was lukewarm, my sides were only half full (the mac & cheese was less than half full – literally 2 tablespoons for $3.79, see photo), and the employees are rude. Popeyes in general has been going downhill for a while now, but this location is particularly bad.

Let me clear this up, the food is the only reason this is a 3 star. The employees do not care for their job or you. Lifeless souls at the register. Unnecessary attitude whenever you ask for something. You have to ask for napkins, ketchup, or other sauces, that cost extra. The owner is cheap and it shows. They sometimes put chairs to make it seem like the eating area is closed. Absolutely shameless.

I gave this location and corporate almost a month to reach out and apologize for serving my pregnant wife raw chicken and they failed to do so. Please do not visit this location unless you’re in the mood for a side of salmonella with your meal.

Hugest pieces of chicken on a sandwich I’ve ever had. Golden BBQ sandwich was good but needed more sauce. Should be dipped in the sauce like a Buffalo wing. Still tasty. Would recommend.

Seems to have burned down. 5AM. No alarm. Odd. Disgruntled customer? Someone left the deep-fry on? Unhappy employee? Franchise fee go up? Franchise cancelled due to the bad reviews?

Worst Popeyes Ever!
I placed an online order for pick-up @ 2:45 (35-minutes prior to my arrival).
When I arrived, there were 2 people on line and 1 person at the online order pick-up area.
I stood behind the person that was at the pick-up area. Once that person left the server walked away and went about completing other orders of people waiting online! Finally I summoned the person and said I was here to pick-up an online order. He looked ahead could not find my order. (which was over $45). He walked over to the printed and pulled off a few sheets of paper and days he works get my order now! First or was 8-minutes past the time I was supposed to pick up my order and now I had to wait an additional 12-minutes good him to get it together. I ordered 3-meals and requested 8-packages of sauces. He told me it would cost extra and could only give me 4-total! I didn’t care and she’d him his much the extra sauce would be, he said only $1! I told him it was totally fine! I handed him the $1, he walked away and out it in his pocket!!! This was the absolute worst experience I have had at any Popeyes or any fast foods establishment. Needless to say, I will NOT be frequenting this particular Popeyes and probably won’t go to any of them again as the parent company has no clue what they’re franchisees are doing! This is absurd!!! Goodbye Popeyes…
