The food was nasty, cold and small portions for crazy prices, the ladies that are in the front were very nice and the cashier was patient with me and my grandma which is (60 yrs old) and they did a very good job but their manager is a rude person and doesn’t speak English at all when he couldn’t even understand or talk and was being rude With a bad face on, Refill should be free and they literally charged me for it. They treated me with good service but food and manager is the problem.

both times i have tried to order from here something has been wrong, first time they did not give me any of the sides i paid for, then the second time they gave me the completely wrong order, i ordered a big box with 2 breasts and 2 biscuits, and a mac and cheese, and got a regular chicken sandwich soaked in mayonnaise and fries. i wasn’t the only one there complaining. multiple people had their orders skipped or wrong as well. I will probably NEVER come back to this location, very disappointed.

We ordered a burger, the bread had mold, I returned the food asking for refund. The staff called for this woman who seemed to be a supervisor. She did not seem to be very surprised (I assume she knew how badly this store has been operated and how little they cared) and did not even say sorry. After she did the payment refund to my card I asked for a receipt she complied with an attitude and said to me “I already apologized you don’t need to give me an attitude”. Sure I should not have been upset when I was served with food with disgusting mold and I should not asked for receipt because why should I bother the nice lady who already so nice to agree to refund already?

The chicken tenders were excellent! I just don’t like that some parts of the breading have no chicken inside, but overall, it’s very good, you don’t have to wait a long line, and even though it is pretty loud at rush hour, I can still hear what the employee says.

This Popeyes needs to SHUT DOWN. Trumbull Mall location gives a bad rep for Popeyes. This is my second day in a row going there & there’s a young woman delegated to the register and doesn’t have the courtesy to acknowledge or greet me. I stood there both times for almost 3 minutes while she acted like she didn’t see me (I also was the only one in line yesterday and today). Both times, I finally told her MYSELF that I ordered online. The kicker is, instead of acknowledging and helping paying customers, she was standing there today eating while at the front counter. I will never return back to this location.

Ordered on Uber eats and only had a few bites of the chicken as it tasted off. 2 hours later I had food poisoning and was over the bowl the whole night and next day. Awful experience would never order from here again. I had to leave work that night due to my illness. I order from the Danbury location all the time and have never had this issue but decided to try this one as it was cheaper on Uber eats. Big mistake I work in food service and have never gotten food poisoning for food I paid for even when I can tell it’s been sitting out for a bit. This was truly a nightmare experience.

I placed an order from this restaurant today. 10 customers who came after my order were given their orders. but mine wasn’t ready yet. I know this from order numbers. When I asked the employee about my order, he took the paper in the department where he was constantly working and started to prepare it. I am curious. If I didn’t ask about the status of my order, would that paper stay there for life?

Painfully slow service. Don’t think staff stay long here. Always new faces. Last time my chicken strips were not fully cooked and the fountain sprite is nasty like all other fountain drinks. Will only go for fries

Ordered three kids chicken tender meals – which come with chicken tenderS and fries. They also come with some stickers for the kids as advertised by the big poster my daughter noticed on the cash register as we walked by. Told the guy I didn’t want the drinks. He was nice and offered me biscuits instead of the drinks to trade. Honorable. Got the bag and left. Drove away. Looked in one of the meal boxes to fine ONE chicken tender, one biscuit, and zero fries. Drove all the way back to the mall. Showed the guy and the woman who gave me the bag. He was visibly disappointed. There was another girl there who told him she was sorry (not me, just the manager guy) but she clearly didn’t mean it. She was more annoyed that she had to do some work. I explained to the annoyed girl the meals were all missing the fries and the stickers. He response was “oh we don’t have those”. To which obviously I asked her why she has a giant poster about the stickers and she should probably take it down. She looked at me like I insulted her and said nothing. I tasted the fries and SINGLE TENDER and they were both horrible. Horrible. The kids didn’t even want them they were so bad. Can you imagine a fried chicken nugget and french fries being rejected by children? How bad they must have been. The biscuits were great, but that’s probably because they were a gift. This place sucks except for the manager guy, he was cool. It’s garbage food anyway. Deep fried fatty junk food. Bad experience. Experience was so bad that even free delicious biscuits couldn’t make up for it.
