I ordered a 12-piece wings combo, but to my surprise, I received 11 drummettes and only 1 flat. I’m genuinely curious-do the chickens at Popeyes not grow flats? While the flavor was okay, the lack of variety was disappointing. I was looking forward to a mix, not a box of mini drumsticks. Please pay more attention to the wing ratio next time!

I know this Popeyes has taken a bit of a beating in the reviews, especially about long waits, so I figured I’d add my experience.

I’ve ordered from this Popeyes location about four times now, and honestly? Every time the food has been great. Hot, crispy, fresh. Chicken sandwich on point. No missing items, no weird quality issues.

My one piece of advice: use the app and actually pay attention to it. This location clearly does a ton of pickup and delivery orders. If you just walk in expecting old-school fast food speed, you might get frustrated. If you order through the app and wait for the “ready” notification before heading over, it works much better.

It feels like this place is set up more for digital ordering than counter service, and once you approach it that way, it’s totally fine.

Definitely not the disaster some reviews make it out to be. Food’s been consistently solid for me.

I ordered online about 10 minutes out. I still waited 20 minutes and they were giving my order to someone else. We ordered the flounder sandwich. The but a drop of tarter sauce and the breading was so thick. I also ordered larhe fries but theybsure have gotten smaller. The staff were so busy arguing with each other too. Its only a take out spot so limited seating. But they are very disorganized. So dissapointing!

The worst Popeyes ever. I do not know how this place is open with such low reviews.
The chicken was extremely inedible, it had way too much seasoning where you can’t even taste the chicken. Half of my food wasn’t even in the order, how unfortunate.

Got delivery (grubhub) and food arrived on time. Spicy chicken was good, as were the biscuits and apple pie. Also tried the mashed potatoes which were ok, but nothing to write home about. Overall was decent.

Unfortunately they did forget part of our order, so make sure you check what you get.

Disorganized and problem with language aka understanding most things asked for.
America is great because of the diversity of people’s, and I truly understand that it takes time to learn a whole new language.
BUT you need to have someone who does speak English at a store to communicate with the customers.
My order was simple enough and placed through the app, with the taped on receipt matching what I ordered.
The problem is that they left out a major part of the order and we didn’t realize till we were home.
Normally not a big deal, but we traveled a good half hour as this is the closest store and we really wanted chicken from a popeyes.
Going back wasn’t worth the time.
Tried calling the store and no one understood what I was saying and you cant call a customer service line since there isnt anyone live you can talk to along with the Ai chat dosent work well , they kept offering my receipt to check the missing item , but it kept coming up as a blank page.
Love the product, but no real customer service is not very nice.
Lastly the employees were spending more socializing then working, the poor manager was doing most of the work as the employees did barely anything.
This is the only unit I have ever had problems at.

Gotta say….I did not love that chicken from Popeyes. First they were out of fries, but not telling anyone, just subbing in mashed potatoes. I learned this (after having just ordered fries) when someone came back in to say they hadn’t gotten their fries in their order. The women at the window answered, “No fries!” Okay. So when my order came up, with nothing said about my fries, I had to ask what was in the bag. I traded for the mac and cheese, which turned out to be a dried out looking puck (see photo). It didn’t taste bad, though. The chicken tenders tasted fine, but most of them were tough and woody. They forgot my sauce, and gave me rice and beans when I ordered just beans. The apple pie was almost devoid of apple pieces or apple flavor, and the filling was mostly slightly tangy gloop. My point of comparison isn’t real apple pie, but McDonald’s apple pie, which is immeasurably better. Anyway, won’t be trying this again!

I’m not sure how they managed to make us wait 20 minutes for our order, to then only to find out we were still missing half of it, and what WAS included was only half full or mostly cold, but here we are. Luckily we were coming home to eat, so we were able to heat up the chicken tenders and fries, but I would have been pretty upset if they were meant to be eaten on the go – definitely not an approved road snack.

It’s not a full sized Popeye’s – there’s no seating or typical food line to order – it’s just a mini window with a kiosk. I will say, the staff that was available was friendlier than the other locations I’ve been to, so I’m hoping that once they get their rhythm down, I’ll have a better experience. The location overall is very convenient for me but there are minimal parking spots and the traffic to leave the lot is also not optimal.

Edit: Popeyes sent my friend to the ER for food poisoning over this meal. Unreal. This place should be shut down. A disgrace to the company.

Should’ve read the reviews. Ordered through DDash for delivery. Took an hour to arrive and they screwed up half my meal. I specifically wanted to try the new pickle items and they gave me BONE IN spicy wings instead of the BONELESS pickle nuggets I ordered. I also got regular lemonade instead of pickle lemonade. Go anywhere else!

I placed an order through the Popeyes app for in-store pickup, but it ended up being taken by someone else. I let one of the crew members know, and she was very kind and prepared a new order for me. It took an extra 10 minutes, but I understand they were extremely busy, and overall the experience was still good.
If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to have someone oversee the pickup area so customers and delivery drivers can’t take orders without verifying they’re picking up the correct one.
