I usually like Popeyes but unfortunately like MOST chain restaurants in Delano, the food is not made like all other locations. The chicken looks & tastes like it’s been sitting underneath a heat lamp since last week. I took a bite out of a chicken sandwich & I kid you not the breaded skin of the patty just lifted completely off the patty & was so stale! It was disgusting. & I ordered some popcorn chicken or w.e the nuggets are called that are supposed to be drenched in sauce according to the commercials & advertisement but they just sprinkle a few drops of w.e sauce they use & that’s it! Do not go here they’re the worst.

First time at popeyes and worst impression. AI is taking orders and its the worst experience ever. It doesnt hear you, it cuts you off, and it gets items wrong. Then there are hardly any employees in there, think AI plus one human. Had to park and go inside to fix the order. I don’t know if this is all popeyes or just this location but the next time I go through a drive thru and hear a “virtual assistant”, I will be driving through and moving on to another option.

Very slow service every time I have to pick up an order for DoorDash it takes 20 plus minutes to get our order if I could. I just deny the order, but it affects my ratings. So I just accept and deal with the slow service been waiting thirty five minutes and food’s still not ready.This is so unacceptable

Disappointing
I recently visited Popeyes, and I must say it was an utterly disappointing experience. The service was abysmal, to say the least. The staff seemed disinterested and indifferent to the customers, making the entire visit feel unwelcoming.
To top it off, they completely messed up my order. Not only did they get the items wrong, but the food also arrived cold and poorly prepared. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay for a meal only to receive an incorrect, lackluster version of what was expected.
I tried to address the issue with the staff, but they were unresponsive and unapologetic, leaving me even more dissatisfied with the whole experience. It’s evident that there is a severe lack of communication and attention to detail within this Popeyes branch.
Overall, I cannot recommend Popeyes based on my recent visit. The poor service and mishandled order left a sour taste in my mouth, and I’ll think twice before giving them another chance. There are plenty of other fast-food options that offer better service and get their orders right, making Popeyes a regrettable choice.
