Great service! Awesome homemade food! The ventilation is very good!!! they have are cleaners in the ceiling so you can smoke cigars and not even smell it! They have great Steeler parties and lots of specials. I can’t wait to go back! Tammy is the best!

I wasn’t here long, but it’s a cozy place. Servers seemed nice enough. The patio out back is super cute. I saw ashtrays around, including one with a cigar butt in it. I’m an ex-smoker, so I prefer a non-smoking space, but it didn’t smell smokey. That tells me they care about cleaning, I suppose.

Pope’s place could be your home away from home! Great community atmosphere and great service – lots of locals here if you’re from out of the area and stop thru and need other honkytonks to goto. Joie and Tammy are the breast! Best hotdogs in the city! Meatballs+Hot Sausage = a whole lot of goodness for you to enjoy! I sure do!

Came upon this gem many years while we were looking for a place to have some drinks. Even though we are not from Polish Hill, we became semi regulars and even introduced others to this great bar. Great prices for the drinks. Really good food. We moved to Youngstown but every time we come to Pittsburgh we have to visit this place. The owner always is great to us when we drop by. If ever in Polish Hill, give it a try.

Clean, well-lit and friendly. Smoking is permitted but handled well by the circulation. They focus on bird dog flavored whiskeys which gets you interesting drinks (if you like flavored whiskey) for a low price. Overall your bar bill will be extremely low compared to all other bars in Pittsburgh. Nice food options often homemade by the kind bartenders. A pleasant find in Polish Hill.

Great service, food, drinks and vibe! Cigar friendly sports bar with terrific TV’s for all of your sports viewing. Even has a dress code to keep all the riff raff out. Refreshing to see a proprietor with the guts to do what’s best for his customers! We’ll definitely be back here soon and will recommend highly to others!
