I usually enjoy the jumbo burgers and onion rings but the burgers have been burnt lately and the onion rings don’t have the same breading as they used to so they’re not as good (but the tots are pretty good). Chicken tenders were decent and fried green tomatoes were pretty good on the previous visit.
A couple days ago I ordered the taco salad last time but it was completely flavorless and the chips were soggy because it was a go order but they still put it all together like you’re going to eat it right there and unfortunately the catfish meal was greasy and bland and ended up going to the dog.
The ladies that work here are very nice and I would enjoy coming here more often if the food was cooked with a little more care and there was a standard of consistency for the restaurant. It’s too high priced not to receive what you grow to expect from a prior visit. We wanted a catfish dinner and taco salad and spent $30 which is quite a bit to spend on food that ended up going to the dog. ♀️
I couldn’t complain while watching her work so hard.
