The Mangonada was made incorrectly. It’s supposed to be a slushy or drink not just mango ice cream with Chamoy. there wasn’t even any mango chunks in it. i’m a white girl and I even know that!!! and the strawberries and cream was literally just milk with pieces of strawberries and coconut. It wasn’t even cream very disappointing if y’all want good mangonada’s or strawberry and cream go to Dallas.

First time trying this place out today 3-2-25
Atmosphere family friendly.quiet and calm. I tried the chocolate shake it was pretty good. I also tried the Oreo ice cream and Nutella ice cream they both were good as well. I tipped the cashier but both ladies were very welcoming and showed great customer service. I told the one lady it was my first time and I didn’t feel rushed or anything to choose a flavor. Me and my family will be going back this weekend I can’t wait to try all their flavors

I got the pistachio and mango ice cream in a cup, the ice cream was ok but Nothing to brag about, the staff was friendly,parking was easy, but they definitely need more lights in the parking area because it’s very dark .

It’s truly a hidden gem! I got a milkshake and they scooped a decent amount of ice cream making the consistency nice and thick.
It’s super cute, there’s so much variety. There’s the popsicles, the ice cream, agua fresca, mangonada, and sundaes.
Now that I know this place exists, I’m definitely stopping by whenever it’s on my route.

Yesterday we went here for the first time. OH MY GOODNESS!!! I can not believe what we have been missing. Upon walking through the door we were greeted by the sweet smell of freshly made waffle cones. The variety of flavors is unlike anything I have ever seen before. I had no idea where to begin. But ended up going with a scoop of cheesecake ice cream in a waffle cone. And what a generous scoop it was. One of my sons got the same while the other got vanilla with pecans. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Some of the best Ice Cream I ever had in my life. I also noticed they served nachos and street corn. Well today we went back. I got the street corn and my sons got fresh mango sprinkled with TaJin. It was delicious. The place is clean and welcoming. The gentleman and lady there are super nice and allowed us to taste a few things. This ice cream is rich and creamy not to sweet and will definitely satisfy any sweet tooth. This place is an Ice Cream lovers dream. I would highly recommend a visit to Popaletas in Gonzales, Louisiana. You will not be disappointed.

Yummy!!! First time here and we were NOT disappointed! Excellent customer service and delicious freshly home made everything!! No, I got the hibiscus tea and strawberry kiwi popsicle and I got a fruity pebbles. My children got homemade ice cream and a fruity pebbles homemade popsicles! Everything was delicious and I love how it is freshly made. Everything is made. I’m so excited to have found this place out. It out every day on the way home from school and my kids pointed it out and we finally stopped. So glad we did!
