Been here before and after seeing all the new creations on all the socials, decided to come and try some of their newer items and specials. Have to say first of all that the two at the registers were the highlight. Energetic, funny and accommodating, don’t lose those two! Now the food, winner of the night was this Kiddo trio chicken sando. Phenomenal! Mac daddy horseshoe came in a strong 2nd but make sure you’re hungry for that one. Not going to lie a little disappointed about the chicken Philly, but the roll it was on was great. At the end of the day definitely a spot I would frequent often based on their staple items like the “tendos and sandos!

The lobster rolls are great! The dead plants everywhere are not so great… a small thing that could be easily fixed to improve the vibe. Looking forward to our next visit.

First time here. Sandwiches were good, salad, lettuce tasted off-stale. Nice large piece of chicken. Servers were friendly. Seating was way too close together. Cashier assigned seats felt like a school cafeteria. Requested tip b 4 service was provided, really dumb thing to do. I did leave a 15 percent cash tip on table. Service was good. Overall, over priced for the food and experience. I recommend you pass on this place.

The food was great, little slow getting out today, but there was a monster party ahead of us (10+) and virtually every table full. This isn’t PUCS’s fault; they are victims of their own success.

Food seasoning & temperatures were perfect! We all got the Lent fish special. Generous portions. I’ve had nearly everything on regular menu & many of the specials. There is so much good food & something for everyone.

Love your food, love everything about your business. I follow you on Facebook as well but my guy can we please find a way to deliver drinks on DoorDash in a way that’s tamper proof ASAP. This is how my drink arrived from my Dasher. Who knows what could get in there on its trip from Peoria to Groveland 🙁

Overall the place is a bit bland. Its very open, quite and the sound kinda bounces around. Definitely feels warehouse still.

Food was quite amazing. Literally the best soup(Prime Rib Soup) I’ve eaten.
The fries were fresh and hot. The waitress made sure, thats a gold star right there.
The burger was amazing and the chicken sandwich was the perfect level of heat and crisp.

The price was a bit high, as sides are separate from sandwiches. 7 dollars for fries is steep…least they tasted good.

The wait was a bit as well. The atmosphere would of helped if they kinda had one.

This was our first time visiting Pop-up Chicken shop and I have to say it’s nice to be able to say that we have a great place to get chicken now!
The atmosphere was on point, I absolutely loved the art, plants, and the whole vibe of the place! There is an abundant amount if light and it’s very comfortable. I regret that I didn’t know about this place sooner.
Everything on the menu is a la carte, so you have to pay for everything separately. We ordered the two piece chicken strip, which came with a slice of Texas toast and extra pickles, and also the chicken and waffles. We also decided to try the cheese curds and an order of Dill Fries. We ordered Ranch and barbecue and I noticed afterwards that they were a dollar each. Drinks for $3 each, the cups are kind of small but you get refills. For just the two of us it ended up being $48 which is a little bit pricey but it was fresh and the chicken was actually pretty big.
We didn’t have to wait very long before our meal arrived at the table and everything was completely fresh! They have their own special sauce and that was pretty good, better than just having barbecue or ketchup. We will definitely be returning so that we can try out the burger

Stopped by while our windshield was getting worked on! Very quiet. Not too many people. Staff was friendly! I don’t remember the name but it had coleslaw on it. Actually was pretty tasty!

I would give 20 stars if I could. Our experience was elevated and top notch! If you’re thinking about eating here, stop reading this and just go! The inside of the building is so unique and refreshing – a true Peoria gem we are lucky to have in our community! Everything we ordered tasted amazing (we got the mac, burger, and truffle fries). The staff clearly love working there because the experience they deliver was above par. Parking is easy to find around the building and even though the place was busy, there was plenty of seating inside. I only wish I would have learned about it sooner. 10/10 would recommend again and again! Thank you Pop Up Chicken Shop for what you’re doing for our community and economy!!
