My partner and I were visiting the area and decided to stop here for breakfast. We ordered one of the breakfast specials and it came with a lot of food. Along with the eggs, bacon, ham and sausage patties, our specials came with two sides of our choice. The hash browns were extra crispy and delicious! The staff was very friendly and it was nice to see them make conversation with their customers. There is a smoking section in the establishment so I don’t recommend visiting if you have respiratory issues or if you just can’t stand the smell of smoke. Overall, it was a pleasant stop.

Was visiting Sulphur, OK and seen this place on our drive in. Looked at the reviews on goggle and knew we had to give it a try! Some of the best breakfast we have gotten from a restaurant in years. Small town feel, friendly staff, big portions of food, fast service and a great price! Pancakes are huge, I dare you to order a short stack

We were visiting from OKC and my husband is very picky. He loved their catfish saying “This is so light, I just love it!” and my baked potato was just enough for my appetite. Great staff and a separate smoking room. Everything was wonderful.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way out from a weekend camping trip at the Chickasaw National Park. Their home cooking label is accurate. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. You need to try the cinnamon roll. We hope to try them for lunch or finner next time we are in town. Their prices are very affordable as well.

My wife and I had dinner at Poor Girls Cafe after spending the day at Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Staff were really friendly and the food was really good. I had a cheeseburger and my wife had chicken fried steak and everything was great. Very reasonable prices too. I would definitely eat here again if visiting the area.

My family and I stopped by this place today after googling placed to eat. My wife read the reviews and despite the recent poor reviews we decided to go and check it out. We really want to support local and eat at the mom and pop type of places. we sat our selves like the sign says and we had been greeted quickly and got our drinks fast. but they are very short staffed and after 25 minutes of waiting for someone to come and take our food order we decided to leave. I know was torn between the 2 or 3 stars but the service that we did get was good. being short staffed is a bummer and makes things very difficult. I was really wanting to try the home made cinnamon rolls I saw but I could not wait 1 hour for food as there was people there before us and they still had no food when we left. if you have time to wait then go for it but I just cant see waiting that long

The food was amazing! The waitress was so kind to us too! But the door between smoking and non smoking areas of the restaurant may as well be a screen door. It smelled like smoke pretty strongly on the nonsmoking side.

Came in from a different state for the first time and the place was disgusting and there was flies everywhere. There was flies landing on my food. And the food looked not appetizing. Along with still smelling the smoke in the non smoking room. But the waitress was sweet. Don’t recommend!

Went in around 6 pm ordered appetizers, dinners, drinks and planned on the pie. First time there. Waited 20 mins to be told the cook won’t make our chicken fried steak(the dinners we ordered) he already cleaned the fryer. Don’t recommend at all! Waitress was super nice though.
